WVU is going to win

I think it is time we gave Ron Collins and staff and players props on the defensive side of the ball. This defense would be dominant with an average offense to complement it. I'm watching WVU run up and down the field on what is supposed to be the most dominant defense in the country. Our D completely outperformed the Auburn defense against WVU. All of the super offenses we have faced have been held to well below their season averages against Colorado. Keep up the good work Buffs!

Different WVU team then what we saw...more under control....somebody needs to remind WVU that Auburn and the SEC is the home of Defense...

We have lost to good teams. We are not that bad as Chris Fowler said tonight. And the WVU win tonight makes us look better.

We lost to #24 Florida State, and we missed chances that could have won that game.

We lost to #1 Texas by allowing Texas their fewest points of the year (which still stands as UT scored more on OU and Mizzou than us)

We lost to #19 Kansas and was in the game until the 4th.

People need to wake up big time and look at those stats right there!

I'm beginning to feel you MAY be right. This weekend will show us alot. Let's see how they perform on the road, in a tough stadium, against another ranked team with some playmakers. Even if we lose but make it close (single digit) then there will be a lot more confidence brewing.

One more impressive stat, we held a team (KSU) that averages 48 points a game to 1 TD.

It would have been nice to see what would have happened had we not lost our entire O-line.

Proud of these buffs, they are fightin and scratchin through injuries and scrutiny from media and fans for lack of an offense, but dammit they are good, not great, but good and we will go to a bowl. I promise you that! I still hold onto this if Mizzou waxes us this weekend.

There's definately a good chance that we'll have ended up playing the Big 12, ACC & Big East Champ by years end....running the gauntlet we did with a young team and with all the injury adversity we are battling through can only mean great things for the upcoming years

Or the Nat'l Champ either this year (Tejas) or late last year (Bama).

I thought CU's version of the spread looked bad at times, but Auburn's version is AWFUL.

WVU couldn't pass the ball to save their life against CU. But they did have a couple nice passes last night.

CU beat a pretty good team in WVU. I just wish we could get our offense cranked up a couple notches. Scoring 14 points ain't gonna cut it for the rest of the season.

Assuming for the sake of argument that Auburn loses to Georgia and Alabama to finish the regular season 6-6, do you still think Tuberville is back?

Yes, but he would have some work to do next season for sure. Some major issues in the program right now that he needs to address.

Auburn's remaining schedule: @Ole Miss, UT-Martin, UGA and Bama. If they want to go bowling they have to beat an Ole Miss team that is 3-4, but has done well against the top teams in the conference (beat Florida, lost by 4 to Bama), not to mention that all of their losses have all been within 7 points. I just don't see it based on their performance against WVU.

If they don't go bowling I could see HCTT going out. People are already calling for his head and there's no doubt Saban isn't going to stomp Auburn if he can.

They want Muschamp, but then again so does everyone else that is looking for a new coach. If they fire HCTT and don't get Muschamp though, their program is going to go down the ****ter and fast!

Yeah, I think they'll keep him for at least one more year. He's tying a new offense and ended up canning the OC. That, and his past accomplishments, should buy him at least one more season.
