I should have posted this earlier this week because I have a real impact on what the coaching staff does. Given that we are probably going to take a beating this week, why not completely shut down Darrell for the week or two? If he is as hurt and banged up as we are made to believe, why not let him have a solid week or so to heal and watch from the sidelines?

We all know he is a special talent and if we could get him back to 100% it might be beneficial in the long run (rest of the season). I guess I using the lose the battle, win the war strategy.

Shoot me, but I've been saying this since the injury rumors began... Small nagging injuries turn long term if you aren't careful.

It should be noted that I as well have a tremendous amount of influence over the coaching staff. :rolleyes:
