Simply put, those kids flat out played ball on Friday, and for some reason when Nebraska threw up a prayer in the form of a field goal longer than any other in NU history, the football gods granted the request.

Colorado Football will be a force to be reckoned with next year, and I will be laughing while the national sports media goes cinderalla on them wondering where the heck they came from.

I can hear the stampede already on the way, arriving in 280 days. Poor CSU...

If Woody was an Allbuffer, I'd give him rep for that column. I agree with everything he wrote.

Also, the accompanying article about CU's prospects for next season gives me a lot of reason for hope for next year and beyond.

They simply HAVE to improve on the D-Line and they NEED better QB play. If they can get those two elements, they'll win 9-10 games. If not, another 6-6 type season is a definite possibility.

Whats the OOC look like next year?

It was the part with his pants down, right? That's where the article fell apart for me. TMI.

the husker nation will boycott the Post now... I wish they'd boycott the entire state and move back over the border

Wow that article just made me feel very good! I have been sulking around since friday, boycotting football, college and pro. Thank you Woody, job well done.

I would also like to add something about Cody. I have from time to time been hard on him, nothing to bad just critical, but I think the last 2.5 games show he can be a good solid QB for the Buffs if and only if he gets some protection. Look at the 2nd half of ISU, Okie State and NU. He played pretty well with a very suspect line, but he played with confidence and made some great throws. I hope it will be an open competition for the position next year but I do believe Cody if he wins it could lead us to 8 or 9 wins with that schedule and a healthy offensive line.

There are my 2 cents.

I truly with a deep hate passion can not stand Woody Paige, I will not do any props on his article but 1 point remains spot on 32 of off the 44 key players are freshman and sophomores and that for any idiot whom is of the believe this team is not decent should slap there self in the head and get off the Buff Train and never be allowed back on.
