Oklahoma State/Oregon

Good game. I don't mind Oregon (I'm originally from the neighborhood) but as (almost) always, I'm rooting for the conference.

Are these Pac-10 officials? There have been 2 pretty blatant roughing the passer hits on Robinson that weren't called, and that MASSIVE hit Robinson took on the sideline certainly looked like a helmet to helmet shot to me.

I went to HS in Lake Oswego OR and almost went to U of O but found the light before making that mistake. Annan Spud Wilson went to my High School. If you were hanging around CU during some of Ceal's better teams in the mid 80s, you will remember her as a pretty good point guard.

I am so glad that I did not go to U of O. I still am not a belotti fan and am happy to see them lose. Goes back to the thumping we put on the ducks in abowl and his complaining. I think it was one of Rick's teams the put a whipping on the ducks. Created some bad feelings between the programs for a while.

If I remember correctly, CU faked a punt for a score after the game was well in hand.

Phil Knight on the tube on the ducks sideline. Would love to have a sugar daddy like that supporting the buffs!

That Duck Team should have played Miami for all of the marbles. If we had won the Fresno game, it would have been us. With that said, it should have been the Ducks and not the nubs.

No doubt in my mind that Oregon should have played Miami.

Seems like the holiday bowl is consistently one of the best bowl games every year. BigXII #4 vs. PAC10 #2. Schools that are good enough not to be a make you feel good bowl but also not good enough to feel slighted because they didn't get a BCS look.

Seems like Oregon was a lot more interested in actually winning this thing this year than Okie State. Interesting contrast in styles.

I was surprised by the result. I thought OSU would put up a better fight than they did. Is Dez Bryant a senior? It seemed like their entire offense came screetching to a halt once he was injured.

Oklahoma State's defense hasn't been very good all year. But they did lose their defensive coordinator to Toledo back in December - so that had to have some negative impact.

I am amazed at how Oregon is somehow able to completely shut down Big 12 teams rushing attacks in the bowl games. OSU couldn't do anything running the football. Meanwhile, Oregon's bowling ball QB ran up and down the field.

That QB looked like he should have won the heisman last night.

OKSt.'s RB looked both slow and indecisive. The only time he really actually ran hard at the line was near the goal line. And when it looked like he was gunna turn the corner on runs to the outside the OU guys caught him faster than an enraged tapir.
