IN!

This off season can't end soon enough, and they pushed back the spring game to allow the players to heal up from their injuries. Last year we got something like 20,000 in the stands. Let's double that this year.

Who's with me?!?!?!?!

DD and I should be heading up this year. It will be my first spring game. Actually I am now considering just staying the weekend in Boulder as a birthday present to myself.

What time do the festivities usually start?

I'm bringing the wife and my niece and nephew again this year.... so +4!

I will be all settled in the Seattle area by then, I think I may try to make the trip. Much easier flight from Seattle than from NY I'm sure.

Do you have to buy tickets or anything for the game?

Nope.

I need to try this year. I have not been since I met ITB and Sackman.

I'll be there in what might very well be my final performance on the sousaphone. It'll be good times I think and I can't wait to see what the buffs look like come March.

I barely know what' I'm doing this weekend, let alone at the end of April.

Anyone know if the spring practices (not the game) are open to the public? I don't believe they are.

The game is usually right around 1:00. We showed up 2 hours before kickoff last year and had a hard time finding a good place to park. We will probably show up three hours before kickoff this year just to be safe. The Spring game is always a bit of a crapshoot, as we don't have an assigned spot to tailgate. However, last year we set up along the West side of the Business School parking lot,and that worked out really well. That will be the plan again this year, unless something crazy happens and the plan gets blown all to hell.

I bought my niece and nephew a white buffs jersey last year, then I brought them early and they were able to get autographs on their jersey's from most of the team.... hopefully that happens again this year.

I'm there. Maybe it will set another attendance record this year, but I doubt it.

That's what my group & I did last year and may do again this year. Got a hotel on Friday, hit Mateo for an incredible dinner, then cpntinued down Pearl Street & hit a few bars. Up on Saturday for a pre-game tailgate, game & then home. Great way to kick-off what (hopefully) will be a great Buff season!

I'm in:gobuffs:

Edit: This is Day 1 of the NFL Draft as well...I hope this doesn't deter some from attending

I'll be there too, perhaps with a new daughter (due in March) there to take in her first Buffs game!

Kudos to the AD for getting the Spring Game rolling in advance. Last year's game was great, but there was no information coming out until literally weeks before the game.

I think we'll top 20,000 in attendance this year - those who think last year was only about seeing Darrell Scott are wrong.

We will be there, but we take Avery to the kids activities on the field before the game, so probably wont make the tailgate.

Anybody know if they are gonna have a huge sale on old game worn jerseys and other clothes? That was sweet a couple years ago!

IIRC, last years game was on April 20, which was kinda ironical given the whole "4/20 friendly" thing going on at CU.

My point is that it seems that this years' game won't be that much later than last years' was.

she won't be there & though I want to be I think I will
be playing it on a hour by hour basis for the first three to six months
after my daughter is born.
