Who is going? When is it? I looked on cubuffs.com and didn't seen anything. Anyone getting a table this year? I might be heading down.

Should be Feb. 5th, same place and time I'd assume.

I'm in but I'm not organizing the table.

I will be going again this year. Been to the last 8 or 9 in a row. They are a great time and this one should be fantastic with all of the great news we are getting now. It will be great to hear Hawk recount how he got the call on Nick's change of heart!

ok... is party boy attire acceptable...

I will not be able to attend this year. I wish I could.

For those of you who have not gone in the past, I highly encourage you to go if you can. It's a great way to interact with the coaches and administrators. Coach Mac has been there the last couple years as well, and he's terrific to listen to. It tends to get a little crowded, but it's fun. You can also expect to see guys like Charles Johnson & Alfred Williams there.

more importantly... is the food good?

Typical banquet food. It won't be great, but it won't be awful, either. Salad, bread, chicken, veggies, and some kind of starch along with a desert of some kind - probably cheesecake.

What time is it at?

Typically starts at around 11:30 and runs until 1:00 or thereabouts. Best to show up at 11:00 to get your ticket and find your table.

Also be prepared to get a sales pitch of some kind. There will be something they're auctioning/selling off at the luncheon. Sometimes it's a trip on the team plane, or an autographed helmet, or a suite for a game. One year, they raised over $200K at the luncheon alone.

$75 a head? **** that. It was $45 last year (I just looked in my checkbook and I wrote HF a $90 check for 2 people). I think I'll probably pass for that kind of coin. Does the CUAD know that we are in a ****ty economy right now?

Perhaps some of the bigger boosters complained about the riff raff (accountants) that attended at $45. :smile2:
