Rumor has it....

Risky proposition..

Can almost guarantee that Bradford won't generate the kind of offense that he did this year. He would likely be the #1 QB taken this year.

That's exactly what the draft boards were saying....either the Lions were gonna snag him with the 1st over all pick, or KC with the 3rd.

Matthew Stafford's got to be throwing one hell of a party tonight. He might have just jumped from the mid-twenties to #1 overall.

I don't follow pro football all that closely. Have any of the recent OU quarterbacks had any success in the NFL?

Also Taylor Mays going back to USC for Senior season, bummer, was hoping he might end up in orange and blue.

Most scouts seemed to like Stafford better than Bradford and I don´t think either of them would´ve gotten past Detroit and Kansas City at #3. Maybe the Chiefs are going to throw their check book at Matt Cassell now. :smile2:

Doesn't matter who the Lions take in the draft. Detroit's top picks end up somewhere else in a few years, anyway.

DBT..Ah yes Landry Jones should of been a Buff and starting for us..But he is riding the pine for another year..

And Detroit always has a high draft pick. If you are a top player, odds are good they will have a chance to draft you at the top.

Well, unless we meet them in the Big 12 CCG next year we won´t have to deal with the Sooners until 2010 so unless Bradford decides to stay for his senior season also, they will most likely have a first year starter at QB when we travel to Norman on October 30th, 2010.

All but the RT.

Makes it even a riskier proposition. Personally, I think he's crazy.

Would you want risk being drafted by the Lions?

 Exactly!

If I was going to have to play for the Lions (let alone live in Detroit) I would stay in school as long as I could. Wow, I can't wait to see McCoy, Bradford, and Tebow duke it out next year. Wow. I already can't wait for football.

So Stafford moves up. Who becomes the #2 QB prospect? Harrell?
