Yes

Hooray! I get to watch the buffs crush the huskers without freezing my ass off. Well maybe, still could be cold, but no wake up call to go to the game.

From Tom Shatel of the Omaha World-Herald:

• ABC announces that Nebraska-Colorado will play on the Friday after Thanksgiving to a full national audience. The interesting thing here is that ABC did not select Missouri vs. Kansas (set for that Saturday) for that national time slot. That doesn't mean ABC can't still put MU-KU on that weekend. But it shows that Nebraska still has that national appeal. Oh, and Colorado, too.

That last little snide remark was especially for all of the Husker fans who like to dismiss this game as much as possible. It's always a money thing, but do you suppose that all of the tight contests, many very entertaining with much at stake, has something to do with it? I can't wait until we beat those guys.

What it means to me is that the powers that be think the NU v CU game is going to be more meaningful than the MU v KU game.
