If I have to sit around and watch bad basketball and worse hockey for the next five months I'll puke.

The Spring game isn't for another month. Grrrrrrrr.

I feel bad for you....March Madness is the most exciting sporting events to watch...keeps these next few weeks exciting until spring football starts up for me

This^^^^ Sack up Sackman and enjoy march madness and Football will be here before you know it. (Then it will go away and all we'll have left is Baseball....NOOOOOO!!!)

I used to love march madness. LOVE IT. Something happened a couple years ago that just made me lose interest. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I came to the conclusion that basketball, as a sport, sucks balls. Once I came to that realization, march madness lost much of it's luster. I don't even participate in the office pool anymore. :sad1:

Just guessing...but that is your problem...March Madness when filling out a bracket is incredibly exciting....just watching the games with noone to really cheer for, not so much

I hit this same place several years ago - after previously winning the pool before the final game was played. Now I couldn't tell you 5 of the top 10 teams, and I don't really care.

Filling out a bracket w/o knowing anything about the teams would not improve the experience.

Do what I do and play a whole lot of NCAA 09. Helps you pass a lot of time.

:rofl2: The Rox are going to have one of the worst seasons in franchise history. That, combined with the Broncos if they don't fix this Cutler situation means it's gonna be a sad, sad year for CO sports.

....that's why i'm banking severely that the Buffs make up for those pains

Bastard. :sad1:

I am pretty sure I am in football withdrawal as well. I had a dream the other night that the Buffs were down by two to Mizzou with 7 minutes left in the game.

DD was laughing at me when I woke up muttering the score.

The only sport in the world that rivals the pageantry and crowd intensity of college football is European soccer. Check out the English Premier League Saturdays on Fox Soccer Channel - if you get hooked, it's the only way to bridge the football off-season.

Well. I figure i can take the buffaloes through 6 national championships by the time fall starts. =)

No matter how bad they are i can make up for it on the XBOX.... Muhahaha

Man, I sure hope I never get to that point as far as March madness is concerned because this is by far my favorite time of the year outside of the September-November time frame. Granted, I watch a less regular season college b-ball than I used to, but even so I continue to look forward to Selection Sunday and the tournament every year.

I'd rather get hooked on a rope hanging from a light fixture.

Ok, maybe not, but it was closer than you would think.....:smile2:

That's what I would have said a few years ago. Now I watch soccer over NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL (sports I breathed for decades until they so overtly went into decline) - everything except college football. I won't try to convert you, but you obviously haven't given it a try.

Cheers,
saavy sports fan

Actually, I have a business and two little girls; the combination means I limit my time watching sports and enjoy time with my family.

Signed,

a savvy father:smile2:
