so here is just a fly by of everything i noticed at practice today.

1.ryan miller was lining up at guard, with givens at tackle.
2.givens looks the part, put 15 or so more and him and he will wreck people.
3.b-lock is fast as hell. looks as though he hasnt skipped a beat.
4.stewart's the same. running like wild. changed number to 5 as posted earlier.
5.hansen has a cannon. he looks bigger and i really hope he takes over the starting job.
6.josh smith was very vocal, looks like he's trying to take on more of a leader role.
7.simas looks primed to get on the field. very crisp runner, and soft hands.
8.they practiced the end around. i shook my head at first, but seeing lock and speedy coming around the edge was a thing to see. i think lockridge will have a major role in the o this year.
9.denver johnson looked calm but ready to yell at guys if he saw something wrong.
10.blackmon looks bigger and pretty quick. he did have trouble lining up in the right spots.
11.cody appears to be trying a more vertical throwing motion, still not a lot of zip on the ball though.
12.scott is CUT.
so there's my two cents. i only stayed an hour, so please add anything after or things i didnt notice.

Good stuff. You can't get from the press or Rivals. The bold is b/c I am curious who will be the emotional leader of the team. If Josh has the ear of his team mates, that's great. I am curious how Johnson will mesh with the players and other coaches. Thanks.

Is behrens out for the spring or in limited action? Suprised to see bahr in there with miller and solder.
 
D. Scott said Winter conditioning was easy. He's 4% body fat and right around 200lbs.

I expect a great season from him:thumbsup:
