what kills me is OU could easily have about 15-20k more if they wouldnt schedule this on Easter weekend every year...

Even in this economy, the Tide have greenlighted an expansion of their stadium to seat over 101K.

Although Bama tops the spring game attendance list, they did not sell out this year.

Only 8k at AM? I hope that game was in the middle of one of those squalls that have been hammerin' that state; otherwise, it sounds like the Aggie love for Sherman is a wanin'.

A few thousand for us, just like nearly every year.

Yup....I'm thinking there will be a major decline from last years numbers unfortunately...especially when our own local "dedicated" allbuffers won't even show up (you know who you are...:smile2:)

Throw in the Nuggets playing @ 11am & NFL Draft Day (Yes, for some reason people wet their pants to watch this???) and the obvious lack of buzz as compared to last year.

What kills me is that once concessions and parking are factored, kNU likely raised north of a million dollars off the deal.

How many did we have for last year's spring game? I wanna say ~20k, but I'm not sure on that.

I'll be out of town, damnit!!!! It's a scheduling conflict!!!! I had no choice!!!!

I'm still disappointed that I'll miss it. :sad1:

CU shot themselves in the foot with this one. Who could have known the Nuggets would be playing at this time, but they should not have tried to compete with the one NFL event that happens between Feb and Sept.

I am still planning on being there, but if that system comes rolling through bringing rain and highs of 50 it will be impossible to get the wife and parents out there for this one.

there's not much they could have done. they had to push back a week to allow for all the off season injuries to heal some more. the next saturday is finals. kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Agreed. Wonder what the chances are they could put the Nuggets game up on the big board? I mean, it is all an effort to support a former Buff in Chauncy right?

Wonder if we had some sure fire top ten draft picks, if they would show the draft on the big screen?

I'm thinking ESPN (showing the draft) and whichever station is carrying the Nuggets game would be pretty pissed.

I'm thinking 10-12 K depending on the weather. Buffs fans always crack me up with their excuses. NFL draft, weather. ****in bull**** man, I really hate our fan base for the most part, it stinks. There are a few loyals like most on here, but most are fair weather pussies that make our fans ln general look like pussies.

I have encouraged about 10 others to go besides us through my facebook.

BTW, I would be going, but I'm heading to Flagstaff on Friday with the family for a late Spring trip. Grand Canyon FTW!

yep, and it's not about the nugs or the draft, it's about the buffs.

Chauncey Billups is a Buff, and one of my favorites to watch & cheer for...so I'll be watching him at either the Dark Horse or Buffalo Grill before hand....then walk on over for the spring festivities a little late depending upon how the Nuggs are looking...what can I say, it's the playoffs

I agree, and I love Chauncey and the Nugs too. I just meant for them to broadcast at the spring game seems silly, when the spring game is not abotu the Nugs.

....yeah, that would be pretty weak as I could see the crowd huddling over by the jumbotron yelling for the Nuggets while the Buffs scrimmage

Are you bringing your daughter regardless of the weather? Because I'm not bringing my boys if it's cold, rainy and ****ty. And I can guarantee my wife isn't going if the weather is nasty.
