My biggest disappointment with the game was not being allowed to go up and see the Club Level at halftime! All month, CU advertised that fans would be able to watch the game in the Club Level. My family and me watched the first half on the west side, so we could see many of the players up close.

We decided to check out the Club Level at Half-Time to warm up and experience the game from a different location, but were rudely denied access because we did not have a ticket that they passed out at Noon, while we were eating hots dogs in the Fieldhouse. They could not possibly let a couple of crushed kids and a freezing wife take a couple of minutes to warm up and dream about watching the game as the privileged few do every week! I was just wondering if anyone else at the game had a similar experience? It could have been a great PR opportunity, but instead CU dropped the ball in my opinion!!

I didn't have that experience (didn't try to go up there), but I'd write Mike Bohn a note and explain it gracefully. I understand he is pretty responsive to this type of complaint, involving miscommunication (them not making it clear what the rules are about visiting) and disappointing fans.

Give it a shot.

We had no problem getting in. However, it was in the 1st quarter and while we were in line I had herd they were running low on tickets. I was not aware that they cut off entry at halftime.

Well if you took the entire herd with you no wonder they ran out of tickets.

tickets (which were free) were controlled by the fire marshall. There is a max capacity. It was a full-house up there and a lot of people standing inside watching the Nuggets game in the first half of the Buff game.

...and they ran out of coffee at the concession stand outside just before I got to the front of the line. Brutal.

I would imagine this had somethi to do with crowd control. We walked up at 1 and they handed us as many tickets as we needed for all 10 people inour group. It was pretty crowded up there with a mojority of the people inside eating, drinking, and watching the nuggets games and then the draft. I am guessing once the passed out all the tickets they couldn't let anymore people up since at capacity.

Saying Cu dropped the ball is crap, you were just too late. You should have headed there first while supplies lasted.

I'm sorry you didn't get up the sarge, but even the check-in table made it clear that there were a limited number of tickets to go up. They probably should have asked those folks leaving the club level if they were returning, and if not to return the tickets to the check in desk, so that others could go up. The club level was pretty packed, and with their being a capacity up there it made sense that they were making people use tickets to gain access.

I got up to the club level during the 1st quarter, no problem. Full elevators going up, so they likely ran out of tickets. Cool area, nice place to keep warm and watch the draft at the half.
