All The Tools

Brett Nottingham (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista)
Nottingham has made some nice strides since he attended the camp last year. He's incredibly smooth with an effortless delivery. Nottingham doesn't have a huge arm, but has more than enough arm strength and throws a very nice deep ball. He threw the skinny post very well and was one of the most accurate quarterbacks of the day. Nottingham has seen a nice bump in his recruitment recently and is easily among the top signal callers in the West region this year.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Would seem like a good candidate for a CU offer to me.:smile2:

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Isn't he from the same high school as Diante? I don't know if I can go through that soap opera again.

He looks like a stud though.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Can we call him "The Sheriff" going forward?

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

he mentioned camping here on the 15th - anyone have confirmation? We need a QB badly to go with Spond.

I wish we had somebody there who could tell us who camps this week and over the past weekend.

Does CU release a list, or is that another one of those ncaa "don't talk about the recruits" rules?

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

The schools can't comment.

I wonder if he would be sticking around for the Nike camp in Boulder on Saturday? I'm hoping to take a peak of the QB's there.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

I went camping this weekend. Overall turnout was about 30-35. Some good recruits.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Good arm strength. Threads the needle. good numbers too. No DT's will intercept this guy and stiff arm him going to the end :rolleyes:zone

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

What's with his offer list?

He said we have offered, there will be an interview up on Scout premium soon, apparently some nice things were said about ole CU.

The Scout/Rivals profiles and offers aren't always updated as quickly as interviews are posted. Left hand/right hand thing, two different sections.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

There's an interview up at Scout, but it's on the forum threads, not a posted article. Ringo is out of state this week, so the writer interviewed Nottingham and posted as a thread.

Brett definitely likes us. He really likes us.

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Good news. Hope we get off to a fast start this year and get him early!

After a slow start on the recruiting front, interest has started to pick up for the quarterback. Wyoming, UC Davis, Nevada and San Diego State all offered scholarships and he picked up his first Pac 10 offer Monday.

"I just got finished with Stanford's camp and they offered me," Nottingham said. "I won the quarterback challenge there and they offered me after the camp, I'm pretty excited about that one.

Prior to the Stanford camp, Nottingham had an impressive showing at Colorado's camp a week ago.

"I had a great time out there," Nottingham said. "That's a beautiful place and some of the scenery there, you just can't beat it. I think the coaches liked me and it would be awesome to get an offer from there as well."

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

I'm really surprised Standford offered since they already have 2 QB commits counting Colter. It looks like Harbaugh really doesn't see him as one. We need to offer

Re: '10 CA QB Brett Nottingham

Are we holding out for some other QB that I'm not aware of? Nottingham sounds like the best guy left on the board.
