Re: Week by week top 10 most intrigNorth uing games for '09

Mods, I don't know what the **** happened with North getting inbetween intirguiing in the title. Please edit for me. And god dammit, this thread better not get more attention about the title than what it really is about.:smile2:

Thanks for posting, leash.
What jumped out at me. Tenessee, Virginia Tech and Michigan aren't on a strict diet of cupcakes, and have the nards to book some OCC competition.
The tOSU-U$C matchup in week 2 will pop somebody's balloon.
The mountain weenie conference is better repesented than the Big East
100% agreement with your #1 picks.

Really for me the CU/WVU is the most intriguing game of the season for CU because if they win on the road more then likely they will be 4-0 with serious momentum and might back up Hawk's optimism.

I'm really looking forward to the VT/Bama game. The winner of that one could make a real push towards the national championship. Maybe even moreso than the SC/Ohio St game.

Man week one sucks this year if Unleash's list is correct.. I don't see one game I'm mildly interested in watching except for CU/CSU.

Maybe Oregon and Boise..

All of them, with the possible exception of number nine interest me quite a lot. I'd watch any game on that list. I can't wait for football to start!

You have me mildly concerned about your status as a college football fan. There are a bunch of goodies, Oregon at Boise kicks off the season on Thursday, then we get OU-BYU, Baylor-WF,Illinois-Mizzou, UGA-OSU in the big 12 alone, plus Bama-Vtech. All capped by CU colon pounding CSU on Sunday. What's not to like??

Are you on crack? Theres some possible national champion implication games in week 1.:wow:

Okie st and Georgia will be a top 25 matchup and VT/Bama will likely be a top 10 matchup. FSU/Miami is always a classic too. BYU/OU is not to be taken lightly, and Illini vs. Mizzou makes the tables turned this year with who has the offensive weapons. Last year it was Daniel/Maclin, this year it's Williams/Benn.

With the BYU-OU game being played at Jerry World and the absolute disrepair of nearby I30, there us going to be some monumental pissing and moaning going on by the Clips.

To add insult to injury, it would make my day should the Cougars win that one.

A lot of people probably noticed I had Baylor a lot in those games, and thats for a reason. They will beat at least one of OU, UT or Okie st and they will go to a bowl. Da Baylor Bears are on the way up and they might have possible the most dangerous QB in the confrence.

BYU is gonna be good this year, OU better not take them lightly.

VT will be overrated as always. Bama will beat them to a pulp.

I agree. I really think that Griffin is the best QB in the Big 12.

Completely agree. Minus game nine, all of those make for an interesting week. Nice we play CSU on Sunday so we can watch all those games on Saturday.

Um sorry, a Bama/VT 12-6 game doesn't really interest me much. FSU/Miami sucks if you remember the 90's games, OU will blow out BYU and screw Missouri...

I'll watch them all because they are on, but am I really that pumped to see those games? Not really.. Are they must watches? Nope..

Early games in the first half of the season that jump at me are:
USC at Ohio State week 2 interests me a LOT and is a must watch.

Tennessee at UF is a must watch just because of all the stuff Kiffin has said..

Texas/OU is always a must watch..

USC at Cal might be interesting if both are undefeated..

LSU games are much watches too, because you never know what knucklehead thing Miles will pull during the game.. But LSU/Washington? Please.. They could put one of their cheerleaders in at QB and win by 30 against Udub..

Mine is much simpler:

3. who's beating Neuheisel?
2. who's beating the CornFuskers?
1. CU game

I'm real close to that. Mine is:

4. Is someone on our schedule playing (scouting and/or strength of schedule)?
3. Is one of our non-conference recruiting rivals playing (UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Washington)?
2. Is a Big 12 team playing (outside or in conference)?
1. CU
