Re: '10 HI DE Kona Schwenke

A DE who runs a 4.7 is very unusual. I'd love to see what he can do here.

Re: '10 HI DE Kona Schwenke

Likely going on a Mormon mission. Leaning toward a 2-year mission. Makes it hard for me to get enthusiastic since it's a couple years removed and probably BYU anyway.

Not that CU is going to jump in on this, but I thought it was interesting:

Kona decided to trip to Notre Dame this weekend. BYU rescinded his scholarship offer.

It will be the Domers or Washington now. I'd love to know how all this went down. Maybe he changed his mind about his mission or something and BYU no longer had room under the 85 limit.

Same as Keenan Lowe with UW. He wanted to visit another school. The school that he had previously committed to pulled the scholly if he visited others, and a commitment or re-commitment was made to another...

As for Kona, ND on Fri/Sat and UW on Sat/Sun, just before the Dead Period....

BYU screwed up, IMHO, by not letting him be a soft commit. No worries, his professional career will be better off....
