Seems like indication were getting to Boise State level. Being exceptional is not considered exceptional; its becoming the norm. IE, players are coming in with a blue-collar attitude. I'm of the opinion for players to perform well on the field, they need to minimize off-field distraction Some might point to Miami's and Florida States success of contradicting the importance of academics. IE, these were teams that had a bunch of thugs that won big. But it seems to have long term success, ie boise state's decade long dominance, this type of stuff is incredibly important. Furthermore, If I'm a parent of a star recruit, you best be sure this is the type of stuff I look into knowing that the shots of getting into the NFL are slim next to none for my kid.
