Re: '10 TX DE Holmes Onwukaife

A long shot for sure, but you never know.

He's right there with Paul Richardson as the guy I would most like to land in this class.

Now that Michigan's out of it, he's dead set on playing OLB in a 34 defense, is looking to go out of state, and wants a school with academic excellence... I think we're right in the mix with Virginia being our main competition. We'll see, though. He's supposed to verbal in August. Coaches better be working it hard to make sure that Boulder is one of his unofficial visits this next month.

OLB? I thought he turned Michigan down because they wanted him at MLB?

He's a classic tweener who can be a pass rushing OLB in a 3-4 scheme. He would be a very good addition to the class.

Yes. He is dead set on playing OLB in a 34.

The Michigan situation was that he tried to commit but their offer supposedly wasn't committable. He still had Michigan at the top, but they told him they wanted him to play MLB so he completely ruled them out.
