CSU's potential starting QB could be out for season

Tough brake for CSU. The Kubiak name carries a lot of goodwill among casual fans.

I had heard exactly the opposite, that Kubiak was at best the 2nd string guy, and that they were probably headed towards starting the Juco. Seems like an awful lot to pick up in a short period of time.

Sucks for them. But like Lefty said, it doesn't matter. CU by 40.

One of my dorm buddies played with Kubiak at Regis and said he sucked... FWIW

The power running game and its emphasis is the most consistent way to exploit depth and talent differences. If our Buffs really are committed to ramming (no pun intended) the ball down CSU's throat, CU will win in a blow-out that takes under 3 hours. If we try all of this happy horse-**** crap running sideways behind the line of scrimmage, it will be a ballgame.

damn, so I should scrap the "happy-horse-****" section of my playbook...dang, just when we were getting good at it in shorts...:smile2:

i totally agree w/ this!

pound it at them! 4 yard runs in the first quarter will be 12 yard runs in the 4th as the size, strength, talent, and depth differential take over.

CU by a bajillion!

i am trying not to get too geeked up this early. ... still a long way to go until kickoff. gotta pace myself...

GO BUFFS!

Lambs are in pretty poor shape. They have some vets on the OLine and some receivers... but RB is a question mark (I actually think they will be okay) and no QB.

Their defense is in really bad shape... pretty weak at all spots.

Rams have some nice receivers, a couple decent RBs, and a veteran OL that has a couple NFL-caliber players on it. But QB is a major question mark. Last year, Farris really struggled against us and I do not see the new guy doing a whole lot better.

On defense, they got some issues. The DL is really undersized (our offensive line really needs to take control). The loss of Brewer at LB really hurts them as well-Sisson is good, but he is about it. The secondary has some experience, but I'm not sure they have much back there.

Feeling better and better about his game. I thought it might be CU 42-24, but now it might be 45-17.

Darn the luck, too bad Ewes guyZ!

As a college football fan, I always want to see the opponents best team against our best team. I'm never happy to see injuries.

I second that. I don't want to see any players injured regardless of who they play for.

In this case, it should be irrelevant. Turning the corner means winning this game going away regardless of who is the QB for the Rams.

I would agree with this except for a certain player from aTm.

They're pretty good at coming up with those anyways...

If the game were played at Invesco...
Because the BCS doesn't enrich the MWC...
Fairchild is only in year two...
It's a rebuilding year...
CU recruits thugs...
Injuries...
It wasn't like CU beat CSU. CSU beat themselves...

...Blah, blah, blah.

well if you go by ramdom's thought logic (horrible poster on ramnation) they have already won the game in the public's eye due to moral superiority. bohn is a thug who has nothing but bringing down csu on his agenda.
