Hard to argue that we should have guys on the first team. It doesn't matter anyway.

Nobody....you are right! We suck, and until we start winning, none of our guys are worth a damn.
I think most of our guys are young and have yet to step up and prove themselves worthy of these lists. Look at the players on them. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
I agree. I think our OL will be a force in the future. I think we might see M. Simas make a appearance next season.

Teams like this should be based on some combination of past performance and potential. Based on that I'd say Mohler should probably be out top candidate, followed by Jimmy Smith and Chappy Brown, then Speedy, Miller, Solder. And I can't honestly say I'm horrified that one of them were included...

Jimmy Smith's the closest one to getting on this list. If the decisions were based on previous body of work, Miller's shortened season was clearly the biggest factor in him being held out. This team has a lot of bulletin board material for this season, and I think they can have a 2002/2004 type year. Looking forward to the postseason lists!

It does boil down to wins and losses. The more players we have on that list, the more obvious that we are a good team by winning football games.
