CU - CSU Vegas Line

11 pts is nice. Hope to beat them by a much wider margin, though. 4 TDs would be a good beginning.

We will crush them. We beat them by 21 points last year, I expect adding another TD or two to that spread this year. CSU SUCKS!

I'd be perfectly happy if Cody goes 6-10, with 100 yards....

...so long as the 4-headed monster at RB has a field day...total offense at over 500 yards & 7 TDs.

take CU -11 & the over

I think CU -11 is a good bet, but I actually think the under might be a good bet.

I could see something like 35-14. Our offense is going to have some issues out of the gate without Simas, a couple new linemen, and a new offensive coordinator. CSU has questions on offense as well. I know the defenses also have some issues, but offenses seem to take more time to gel. I think the 1st half could be pretty low scoring and we gradually wear them down.

If you're going to bet on this game, get your bet in now. I expect this line to move up before kickoff. CU by 11 against a dog ass lammie squad is a no-brainer. If we don't win by at least 21 points, I'll be worried.

No way we beat them by 21. They will play up as always. Close game.

They can only keep it close when they have the horses. They don't have the horses. The only way this game is close is if CU turns the ball over 6 times.

Not true. We seem to make those guys look like all americans every year. Gartrell Johnson sucked before the CU game. Then he went nuts on us and continued off that to have a good year.

CU always seems to play down to the level of competition.

The rams have an experienced good OL and they have 2 damn good wr's in morton and greer. If CU's dl and LB's don't play better this year against the run, teams like csu will be able to pound the ball and go over the top. We have some very good db's but if we don't get pressure on the QB, they won't look as good.

CU on offense must be able to run the ball and I don't mean for 175 yds either. Without smith and simas, this looks like a TE/RB passing game unless simmons or ussery can provide some plays. That will be tough right out of the gate. Maxwell and espinosa are 5-8 and have little experience if any.

I was feeling better about winning by 21 or more again before saturday, now I see a close game with struggles in the passing game.

Fairchild isn't sonny,he doesn't play the woe is me game and he can coach.

Another thing, Our OL needs to dominate the line of scrimmage vs their small front 7. No excuses.

Can I state the obvious on the offensive side of the ball?

1)We are basing our unstoppable WR production on 2 guys who have never played. Simmons and Simas (One of whom will be suspended for 2 games). Oh, and two TRUE FRESHMEN.
2)The strength of our offense is the reason our offense sucked total balls last season - the OL.
3)We have the best stable of RB in the nation, but we had the same stable (minus lock) last year.

What is wrong with Scotty?

I think Fairchild is a good coach. I think CSU will start a QB with little experience. I think that and CU's DBs are enough to slow any CSU passing game and I don't think CSU will be able to extend drives by running the ball. I don't expect CSU's offense to score more than 17 points.

Assuming Kiesau calls a competent game, I think the Buffs win going away. A lot of CU turnovers or an underreliance on the running game will make the game closer than it should be.

What about scotty. People seem to forget he is on the team. He always has a huge game against CSU with at least one TD. I think that will help tremendously with our passing game and young WR. He is more than reliable and aparently a step quicker this year. As long as he get separation he has always benn good.
