Predicted to finish 3rd... the big :wtf: is Kansas is picked #1, followed by the fuskers. Missou fourth, KSU fifth and ISU of course last.

The south shakes up 1. OU, 2. Texas, 3. Okie lite no surprises in there. 4. TT, 5. Baylor and 6. aTM.

On the plus side some love is given to D Scott on the CU Snipit, saying he could lead the big XII in rushing.

I agree with their North predictions.

These north predictions have the potential to be correct. I don't think anyone should expect CU to be third. I'm not saying CU can't come in third, or won't come in third. CU hasn't played a single D-1 game in 2009 and the team is unproven against their opponents on offense and on defense and on special teams. Until the Buffs prove it on the field, all of their potential and all of the fan's expectations are unfulfilled at this point. They might come in better than third or worse than third, but they have the potential to be third.

Read this slowly, you homer morons. And don't put words in my mouth. Your reading comprehension and capacity to drink Hawkins flavored kool-aid is below that of an eighth grader.:smile2:

Your opinion that the Buffs have absolutely no chance of doing any better than 3rd in the Big12 North proves that you are a fusker fan. Get real. The Buffs won the North a few years back, so you saying it's impossible for them to do it this year makes you an idiot. Why don't you take your fusker self to some other board, I don't like your different opinion being expressed, and I especially can't stand the fact that you keep saying the Buffs have no shot at finishing higher than 3rd in the North.

Oh, I'm neg repping you, and you will be sorry for expressing your different viewpoint. I'm going to recruit all of my cyber buddies to neg rep you too, I don't care how homo that is...you will regret the day you put your non-conforming opinion on display.:smile2:

Let's not bring Old balls Tom Osborn in to this. No one has provided a link that actually proves TO voted Darrell Scott as the #4 RB behind Speedy, causing Scott to have to share his Best RB rating with Georgia Tech. Maybe it was #2 or #3. Speedy has actually proven on the field that J-Fly's transfer situation is similar to Clemons transfer from Michigan.

I blame the chief moderator for misrepresenting my location. Don't misrepresent what I said. At least I'm consistent in my opinions.

I neg rep you back, you sissy. Bwahahahah!

The 1990 season was just so magical, I couldnt help but to sob into my pink zebra print pillow after it was over. It happened to be my 8th year in college, AKA my senior year, which made it all the more easy to get swept up in the beautifulness of the atmosphere. The road trip with some amazing, inspiring friends to Lincoln was fabulous, and holds the top spot in my heart forever. We were all truly BFFs. Rushing the field while we held hands was such an arousing thrill. Rushing the field, hand-in-hand with my frat buddies was absolutely breath-taking. Signed, Skidmark

The North will be won by CU, NU or KU, with Mizzou having a slim, slim outside shot. ISU and KSU NO SHOT!

The south will be won by Ut or OU with OSU having their best shot to win the division ever IMO.

I definitely agree on the North part. As for OSU, this is probably their best team in the Big 12 era, but I don't know if this is their best chance to win it given how good UT and OU are expected to be. But I certainly wouldn't be shocked if OSU won the South.

I think it will be NU, KU, CU, MU, KSU, ISU. KU has a brutal conference schedule this year catching OU, UT and TT from the South. I believe NU's schedule sets them up with the best shot at taking the North. Their toughest road game will be 11/14 at KU and they catch OU and TT at home.

I think CU's schedule is more favorable than NU's. NU has to face KU, Mizzou and CU on the road. CU has KU, Mizzou and Nu at home. NU also has to go to Waco, that will not be an easy task.

I just don't see us being able to hang with the high scoring offenses yet. I think KU is a better team than us right now. We are on equal footing with NU, but they showed a lot of improvement last year. If they continue to get better at their current pace, they will be the better team by the end of the year. I am not sold on the Bears yet and Waco is the least intimidating place to play in the Big XII. Texas has hs stadiums bigger than where the Bears play.

KU's schedule is really any much tougher than knu's or anyone else's in the North. The big 3 in the South will be OU, UT, and OSU, and KU plays 2 of those 3. Granted, knu only has to play one of those 3, but they have to play KU on the road, as well as the other 2 North contenders, CU and misery.

If you look at the schedules of the CU, KU, and knu, they all essentially balance out:
CU - OSU (away), UT (away), but get misery, knu, and ku at home
knu - OU (home), but they play misery, ku, and us all on the road
KU - OU (home, UT (away), knu (home), CU (away), misery (neutral site)

Right.
KU beats us and knu, loses to OU and UT.
knu loses to KU and OU,
CU loses to UT, OSU and KU

11/27 is played for second place in the North.

Not saying it will happen that way. Just how I see it at 7 am on two cups of coffee.

I'll come clean. I don't like the Huskers, but I respect them. It's the same respect that I hold for a certain red patton leather belt with the N shaped buckle that was worn by my mom's boyfriend. He used to tan my ass with that belt, and then finish off all of my Frosted Flakes. Mamma said that you can't count on the cerial being there to feed you until you spoon it into your own mouth. I left home at a young age and learned at the junior college of hard knocks. There's no way I was ready for the challenges of this world until I understood life's playbook. one question: have you been to any practices yet?

because I am more optimistic than ever.

No, I haven't. I would love to be proven wrong. Would actually be great if CU and knu came out and dominated with strong ground games. Show the $wc what Big 8 football is all about. Punishing running attacks! **** all this razzle dazzle bull****!

Then have a replay of 2001, except this time we don't give up any garbage points to make it look closer than it was. :smile2:

I could see that happening, but you just posted before this that NU would win the north with KU 2nd and CU 3rd. So I'm a little confused by what you are actually predicting.

I guess what I am predicting is it will come down to a three dog race in the North with knu the favorite, KU a close second and CU playing spoiler.

At least I qualified it by stating I was only up to my second cup of joe.

Watch out guys he's bringing his Internet friends to neg rep us. I an starting to think that that's his only friends.

Now see, you could have typed that a few days ago and still gotten to have sex with the wife.... :smile2:

I think that's a good summary of the conference going in, btw...

Easy - he does have a point. CU has got to prove themselves by winning on the field. Everything else doesn't mean $hit. I do think they will finally do it this year.

Righteous post. Rep The only part I disagree with is optimism. It makes alot of things possible. And I don't look at the world through rose colored glasses. I think if you bust your ass hard enough - you get what you deserve.
