Anybody know how many tickets are left for CSU?

I'm hoping for Snarf's sake.

From the article about the scrimmage being at Regis:

CU athletic director Mike Bohn reported 8,437 tickets remained available for the season opener against Colorado State with about an hour left in the business day on Tuesday.

That seems like a high number of unsold seats. That would be a crowd of 46,000, which is what the Buffs had for Eastern Washington and Iowa State last season -

- but I guess it's still early.

Pretty standard for CU, imo. Who knows if student tix are even sold out yet. School hasn't started.

Student tix were not sold out...as of yesterday when I bought mine. I wonder if that number includes students. I would bet a lot of students haven't purchased theirs yet.

Just wait until after the AB ticket drawing. A bunch of people might be buying then....

Capacity: 53,750
Attendance at the Texas game last season: 53,927
Average home attendance in 2008: 49,476

I'm feeling good about this year's home slate. CSU, NU, KU & MU should sell out. Wyoming's got some regional interest. aTm travels well and could become a hot ticket if the Buffs are having a good year.

I definitely see us averaging close to a sellout. It will help, of course, if we can surpass last year's season tickets number.

CSU tickets this year are awfully expensive, especially when buying multiples. With an average (non student) ticket price at or exceeding $100, its a hell of an expensive day for a family of four. When the game is at Invesco, I typically remember every seat in the place being the same price (50 or 60 bucks).

I'm not complaining, but offering a possible explanation.

Yeah, I bought 6 additional tickets (not premium seating either) after they went on sale to the season ticket holders and paid $486 or 80-friggen-1-dollars each. Pass the Vasoline please...

That's about as much as I paid for my 2 ticket 3-pack which includes CSU.

My season tickets for 3 seats only cost $540.00.

Plus you are gonna be sitting by a lot of sheep fans.

It doesn't make sense for people from out of state, like myself, to buy season tickets or even the three-pack. I said average ticket price for this one game that is the subject of this thread. And I bet the average non-student single game price for CSU is over 100.

not average, but 60 bucks tickets are available.

Right you are. Anyway, I'm lucky enough to not have an issue with prices (at least these prices), I'm just suggesting one possible reason for the crappy sales is a crappy economy and single game ticket prices that are fairly high.

yeah, wait till half the freshman class realizes they have to actually purchase season tickets and the number should lower substantially.

I paid $360 for two season tickets. The seats aren't the greatest, but let's be honest, there aren't really too many bad seats in Folsom. Just being in the stadium is pretty cool.

Are you in Section 2 sacky?
