i canceled my rivals account for the time being, but the front page story hints at west seeing playing time this year. it would be awesome if he could somewhat step into kasa's shoes and give us some quality depth. he was a lot of people's sleeper in this class, too.

He was one of the true frosh Hawk (I think it was Hawk) mentioned could see immediate playing time in an article from a couple weeks ago.

West is going to be a designated pass rusher this year (possibly even getting some work at DT in certain situations). During 11-ons this week, he sacked Hansen on 3 straight plays.

But...but...but...he din't have five stars as a recruit! This can't be true!

I hear he reminds the staff of Abraham Wright

He is listed at 245 now. Sounds like he and Bonsu have impressed thus far. Realistically, we need them both to step up to provide some immediate depth.

Also hope he continues the trend of a 2* guy coming up big.

wtf are you talking about?

Too many posters' obsession with the number of stars the recruiting services give to HS kids. Then when Hawk & Co score a lower ranked class, based of course on the number of stars given, they are ready to tar and feather same!

Yet, Stewart 2*, West 2*, Olatoye 2*.......

If you put down the bong, you'll get it after a half an hour or so!

i know what stars are, they just had nothing to do with this thread. i don't smoke, but thanks ya little bastard.

The recruiting story on West is great.
How many kids does the B12 get out of Connecticut? Sorry Big East.

His HS coach was a huge promoter of his work ethic. It's nice to see him getting pre-season props.

Man, I leave this site for almost a couple of weeks and you guys don't miss a beat!

Nice Job:thumbsup:
