What would be the first offensive play from scrimmage you would like to see?

As for me, I'd love to see some sort of play action or screen pass to, say, Lockridge.

Uhhhhhh.... this is easy. Speedy breaks out for an 80 yard touchdown run

I'd like to see a play action pass to Geer. Lock would be a good choice, too. He could take it to the house if he gets a little room to run. Everybody in the stadium knows CU's strength on offense is running the ball. CSU is going to want to make sure they stop the run. So, the logical thing to do is pass the ball.

All season we hear how we need to pound the rock and these are the choices for first play.

I'd like to see a little patience and establish some dominance on the line of scrimmage to sustain the first drive for some points. We can do the other stuff later, after we remind CSU who owns the line of scrimmage.

EDIT: Oops, sorry Dio, you were in line.

My hope for the first play is a simple off-guard running play that nets 6 or 7 yards and shows that the coaching staff is determined to simply line up and play to the team's strength. No gimmics, no shot at a home run, just the beginning of a dominant performance.

My fear is a long pass down the middle that is slightly under thrown and batted down by a DB trailing the receiver by 2 or 3 steps. I saw this one enough times last year to drive me nuts.

I expect the 1st couple of series they will be feeling each other out. Hmmm, that didn't sound right? Anyway, If CSU consistantly puts 8 guys in the box to stop the run, the Buffs should have an answer for that. Some kind of pass that goes the distance for a big score. I hope.

No offensive plays the entire game. Kickoff, runback for a touchdown. Pick 6s and fumble recoveries for the rest of the game.

D-Scott hand off from the power I...runs to the right, in between the hole created by Ryan Miller & Bryce Givens....hopefully something we'll see a ton all year long!

i'd like to see d.scott go right up the middle, put his shoulder into a sheep lb, knock him down, and then hurdle a sheep cornerback on his way to about an 85 yard td run.

:smile2:

Does this fix go to far?

Does this fix go to far?

maybe just a notch too far...

replace "while ****ing the csu mascot on the sideline" with "while getting fellated by the head (pun intended) csu cheerleader who is overcome by his greatness and feels the spontaneous need to express it" and i think you'd be spot-on.

Anybody can get a blowjob from a cheerleader (well except for me from 1991-1993, but I got there eventually).

I think humping a mascot--expecially a sheep--makes a bold statement.

I'm convinced that this is a dominant way to start off our 11 year marriage with those guys.

55% AND we're gonna grudge **** your mascot. And Rino says that Bohn can't make a deal...

Yeah, I drank a Red Bull for tonight's shift...

perhaps. but, a monica from a toothless sheep cheerleader in front of a packed folsom field would likely make anyone's top 5 weird sex experiences. on the other hand, who hasn't ****ed a costumed mascot at some point or another?

I like the idea. I was more specific in my post earlier. Just did not see your post until now.

I'd like to see a play action fake to Scott, followed by a long pass to Espinoza as he streaks by a badly-fooled Kubiak, for a long TD!

Geer wil get his, as will Scott, let's have one for Espy, the Mean Moose grad, gotta live and cheer for something in Alamosa.
