Even with larger squads, Mac's teams usually topped out around 30 guys from Colo and the same with GB.

I think that shows Colo HS FB is getting better and the borders are being locked down by Hawk & Co.!
 
Agreed. I'll still bet a majority of people in this state who donate to college athletic programs do so to schools outside these borders. Let's turn that trend on its ass next.

Colorado high school football is LIGHT YEARS ahead of where it was in Mac's day.
 
How about Sam Stratton from my high school, Chatfield, and 82 yard run, a 96 yard run, and a 68 yard run, plus he was 6 of 13 for 142 and 2 td's. Not a bad opening night game for a Colorado high school QB. Go get'em Hawk!!!
