Scott with the ball, but sumler will do a lot of the work such as pass blockin etc.

Really tough poll.

I think I have to go with DS because if he lives up to expectations than he is just the one.

I just love Speedy though. It is difficult to not pick him.

I have to go with speedy. I really think his experience will be the difference. But DScott should have himself a good season.

I think it will depend on the oline. if they stay healthy then Dscott will light up everyone we play but if not then Speedy's shiftyness will make him more productive.

I see Aik with a vote for Hildrith. I've been hearing great things about that kid, from people other than Alfred Jasper too!:smile2:

They say he should earn himself an scholarship quickly.

Had to be the controversial one in the poll. He seemed to be getting quite a few reps in August, and we always have a few hard-working guys who come on by surprise and become huge contributors on their way to earning a scholly.

That being said, Scott and Stewart are the bread and butter. But, stranger things have happened, right?

If Hildreth becomes the guy then I will start questioning the coaching. Speedy and Scott should be head and shoulders above a true FR no matter what. If Hildreth is running hard and out performing two guys with talent and experience in the system it's because Hagan has coached them into mediocraty. I hope it's not true but we saw a similar thing with Brian Calhoun. (I know Hagan wasn't his coach, I'm just saying stuff like this happens). He got worse with the Rb coaching at CU and blossomed when he went to Wisconson.

It should also be noted that Wisco had a great OL in front of him.

I don't think Calhoun got worse with the CU coaching, the coaches just didn't use him right. Remember the reason he transfered was because of the position change.

Yeah, but do you remember how he ran hard as a freshman against NU and after that he started tap dancing (like the rest of our RBs). I think part of our problem in that time period was bad RB coaching.

:rofl:hahaha...:rofl2:

I'm hoping the coaches give teams a heavy dose of Lock/Speedy in the first halves of games. Then in comes Scott to plow them over when they're tired of chasing the little guys around.
