CU @ Toledo prediction thread

This game was going to scare me even if we killed CSU. Now, I am really scared. Until the buffs prove me otherwise, I say

Rockets 35 Buffs 24
 
Tol 31 CU 27

DS 1 car 7 yds:huh:

Sumler 13 car 18 yds:cry:

Speedy 6 car 71 yds and then benched for entire second half.:cry::huh:
 
this game also scares me

if we lose this game.. then the season will be a wash.


imo, we'll be down early, and mount a comeback, and Hawk will talk about how monumental this game is for the physce of this young team
 
If CU's offense can't score more than 17 points, the Toledo game will be UGLY.

I think Toledo will score quite a few points.
I think CU will score less.

I predict that Hawk will continue to proclaim that it is the little things that are killing us...as I predicted last night, Buffs lose 45-10.

Toledo 35 CU 24

They have a good qb and wr's and throw it 60 times. The way our great secondary played last night and our no pressure DL, this is an easy pick.
 
35-7 toledo. they throw the ball well and we can't cover the deep pass. i can't see our team scoring much unless we start running the ball, which won't happen if we get behind by 7 or more
 
can't pick against the buffs and liked our 2d half... however, its not gonna be easy. Thank god its a short week or the misery would just be worse.

We can't score more than 17 at home against a team that would probably lose to toledo. I see hawk losing this game and his team.

How depressing... allbuffers predicting the Buffs to lose to a lower tier MAC team. I can't say I disagree. We're garbage on the road under Hawk, especially on a short week

21-20 Buffs, have to come from behind to win with an Aric Goodman FG in final seconds. Goodman saves hawks ass from getting fired that night, only to be fired the following week when the Wyo faithful are seen dancing on our field after another embarassing loss at Folsom Field.

Sheet, your're right. I forgot about how crappy Hack's road record is.

OK, 24-21, Toledo and he doesnt even get on the plane back to Boulder.

His house is seen with a For Sale sign the next day.
 
I frankly think we are going to walk all over them. 48-14. I know we are down on the program right now, but, really, I think the team will gain focus after this and go on a 3 game win streak, lose to texas, then win the last 7. :wow:

Seriously, I tend to agree... I think 48 is a bit much given what I saw last night, but I am willing to jump back on the CU bandwagon again. I have been a fan through Bill Mallory and Fairbanks... I have seen down times. It will take a season worth of success and good decision making to jump back on the DH bandwagon again. The team has my heart... DH is going to have to EARN my fandom... no more blind trust in him!

I think cu will be able to run against toledo and make some plays in the passing game but I have no confidence in this coaching staff to put our best players in positions to make plays.

Toledo can sling it and they have big wr's who can catch. They throw alot of slants and 7-8 yd passes. Our DL will not get any pressure so I'd play a 0-5-6 scheme.

Man, I wish I can have some of that ganja you're on. Some Zoloft would help too.
 
lets not forget that our D played well in the second half, Toledo does not have the O line CSU has......and Hawkins knows now that he needs a win a big win.....
