Arrest warrant issued for former CU-Boulder linebacker Lynn Katoa

Another one of Hack's great accomplishments, although I was exstatic when he picked CU and I know he is a troubled young man that needs to be held accountable.

Still, right now, nothing Hack has done seems to cover up the fact that this team is heading for yet another losing season.

****.

This kid's story gets sadder by the day. He has pretty well thrown all his talent down the toilet. Hopefully he doesn't let his life follow...

In this thread? Seriously?????

I hope this kid gets his **** together before he ruins his life. What a waste.

He'll likely look back at this at some point in his life and realize what a truly special opportunity he pissed away.:sad1:

Had he stayed out of trouble at CU, I doubt he could have qualified and maintained academically. Sorry to see this happen.

dude buffwings chill out, hawk did more than he should of or had to with Katoa and sort of providing an OU type environment where he could get away with murder there is little more we could do. hawk's got a lot of shortcoming but not everything he has done or touched has been an unmitigated failure.

ok, perhaps I should leave that out of this thread. I do hope everything turns for the better for Lynn.

Like this one...

:wow:

Love this one myself
How many CU football players have been in the news in the past 3 years for crimes of violence? A larger percent of them, then say, the Newlands neighborhood, the business owners in Boulder. Anyways, too many and I do enjoy football and I do enjoy CU, so not one of "those" haters. Just calling a dime a dime. The players are treated to a luxury package of amenities and too many of them pay it backward instead of forward.

Has it ever occured to the guy that the media is more likely to make a story out of a guy in the spotlight ****ing up than Average Joe breaking someone´s jaw in a bar fight?

Damn. What was Hawk supposed to do with the kid? He's off the team. He was suspended for a year before that. And some retard has the audacity to claim he was treated with kid gloves? WTF?

Hawk handled the Katoa situation appropriately. Credit where credit is due. The team can't play worth a damn, but they are good citizens.

my sentiments exactly.

At least Katoa's still got his day job.

okay - the thread did seem to turn in sentiment, because I was getting rather annoyed. This is NOT Hawk's fault.

Looking down on Katoa also is rather sheepish. Katoa made a mistake, but he was not the instigator. The dip**** that tased his group deserved to get punched...just not get his face broken. Seriously though, what is anyone thinking when they talk **** to football players? Katoa ****ed up, but I still put a lot of blame on that other guy for starting the whole mess. It's sad, because I'm pretty sure that Katoa originally comes from a rough background with gangs, before getting "adopted" by a family. I may be wrong on that...but if my memory is right, this kid was turning his life around before someone pushed a trigger in him that caused him to explode. Remember, he came to campus early because he was so excited about staring college...

Lynn is a damn good kid, just stupid right now. He's throwing everything away and way too into "street life" or whatever. At his heart, he's a great kid. Really is. :sad1:

Who cares. Plus I've pretty much had the same thing happen to me as Boulder lost my paperwork for a stupid drinking class I had to go to. Was fun getting arrested two years later.
