Who wins? I'm hoping for another buckeye beatdown, but this will be Barkley's first big test in a hostile environment. FIGHT ON!

I figure that OSU will eventually win of these big non-conference games. Plus I want USC to lose so they won't be as highly ranked when they go to south end next month.

You kidding me? OSU escapes Navy at home by the skin of their teeth, SC rolls big time.

So when does the whole USC cheating finally get sanctioned by the NCAA? When Carroll inevitably lets his ego get the best of him and takes another shot at the NFL?

Nope. Never. It's just like the other big programs that get caught cheating.

Navy has a well seasoned system that has been bowl bound over the past few years. If you never see that system but once, especially on your first game, then it's hard to prepare for defensively. Athleticism by itself cannot beat a well oiled machine like that...look at GT vs Clemson yesterday where Clemson definitely has the better athletes.

That doesn't escape the piss poor play of OSU's offense though.

USC will win the game on the ground, not the air. Their D is good enough to stop OSU's and all Barkley has to do is manage the game well for them to win it. Gosh, I wish I could say the same about us, but with our OL we need a playmaker at QB.

The close game was a system issue, tough to prep for. Also, USC better get some confidence in Barkley and throw some deep balls. USC run game looks real good, but Barkely's longest pass against SJCC was like 13 yds. So it will be closer than you think, but I don't see OSU having much luck stopping the run game and USCs D will be too much for TP.

Well, it will happen eventually. FSU didn't get it as bad as it could have, but with their decreased success the NCAA finally started to go after them a bit.

USC rolls. There isn't a more talented college football team in the country. Petey will lose to a team he has no business losing to, like Stanford, Oregon State, Cal, Arizona State, etc. But when it's a big game and all the TV cameras are on, there's not a better team going. They'll roll. It won't be close.

Troo statement.

About the same time OSU gets in trouble for Mo Clarett. In other words, never.

They have already been sanctioned.

Merriam-Webster definitions for sanction:
1 : to make valid or binding usually by a formal procedure (as ratification)
2 : to give effective or authoritative approval or consent to

Don't really care.

Going out on a limb with OSU. Tressel will blitz the he** out of USC and Barkly will get Happy feet. Just hope it is a close one
