Either way. If we blow them out, then good, that is what is supposed to happen and Hawk has this thing back on track for another week. If we get blown out, that sucks, but at least we know it now and can start the work on getting someone else in here who can win.

For the future of CU football, the worst thing that can happen is a close game.

Go get 'em Buffs!!! 50-10 is what we need!

This is just awful.... Never has it been this hard for me to watch CU games..... Already time for the whiskey.

You are getting what you asked for.

Yeah, pretty much sucks, but hopefully they beat us bad enough to force Bohn into making a decision... Hell, might have to let Scott coach the team... whatever keeps him here I am for. I know he hasn't been perfect tonight, but he has been fun to watch.

Is Simmons playing, for friggin sake??????????????????????????

I don't know. That win, even if it's 19 - 16 or whatever, will be good for the players going into their game against Wyoming.

They need that W tonight, no matter the score.

Thinking about the players. Especially the seniors.

I hear ya, I would love for Hawk to turn this thing around, but I am more than willing to give up this season if it means that CU will have a better future. Right now, the Hawk tenure looks like it needs to be over or we risk ruining our program for a very long time.

Good on ya, and many other Buffs fans here, for looking to the future of the football program; watching as a coach seemingly dismantles the legacy of Colorado football.

I don't know what's wrong here. I really don't. I've seen posts bringing out Hawkins' reliance on others on his staff, etc, while he shows signs of inability to deal with the task at hand, to lead, etc. It just looks to me more like maybe he's been promoted beyond his abilities; he'd be fine and a standout coach in a lesser conference, a lesser program with lesser opponents.

Meanwhile, there are football players who need that W, who need to finish their college careers with as many of those as they can get, again, no matter the score. I guess I'm just waxing emotional here about the players more than the great program at Colorado that needs change.

It hurts to say, but I really think this is good for the program in the long run... Man does it hurt now though.

100% agree...but the embarrassments we have and will take this season on national TV will hurt recruiting for years to come.

Exactly. Unless we honest to god hit a home run with the next coach we're looking at another 4-5 years to even become competitive. This is just so depressing.

Glad someone else said it. I was thinking that and felt guilty. Even a blow out now for CU would seem lame. OK we played well 1/4 halves against teams from weaker conferences BFD. I repeat B f'n D. And this is on national television. Dios mio!!! Not sure I can watch anymore.

Well, I knew we needed a blowout so hopefully this is the turning point for our program to get this thing running in the right direction again.

On the radio today, they were saying this is the most important game of the Hawkins era... I think they got it right. It decided the overall results of the Hawkins era. Who would have ever of thought it would be decided in Toledo, Ohio?!?!
