Steve Fairchild Show

Hate to bring it up, and apologize for beating a dead horse.

But had the news on when the Steve Fairchild show started.

Now this is a real coach. He began the show by admitting that it was nice to get the win, but that they played poorly and escaped with the win.. then went on to pointing out things that they needed to clean up on both sides of the ball, and even admitted that it was his fault that preparation was poor at certain aspects of the game.

I was very confused by this:confused:

How could a coach possibly have the berries to admit his own faults, and analyze the game as he, and EVERYONE ELSE, saw it?????

That's mindboggling to me... :wow:

I am still a little miffed there is a Steve Fairchild show and no Dan Hawkins show on local TV. I think it is very good local PR to have a show right after the 10 o'clock news ala Mac and Barnett. While Barnett's show was absolutely painful to watch, at least it connected the program to the local media. I think this is an epic failure on the part of the AD, regardless of what we think of Hawk.

Hawk has already drank his green herbal tea and is in bed by 10 pm.

Before the game against Weber State, I saw this quote:

"They're a good football team -- better receivers than CU, I'll tell you that right now," defensive coordinator Larry Kerr said.

After the game, I was told Fairchild said that Weber State's QB was better than CU's and that their receivers are faster. I can't find the quote anywhere, though, so I don't know if it's true.

Weber state has a better QB and WRs than we do.

That is the state of our program right now. Fantastic.
