Smith breaks his silence...

Emphasizes that Hawk's a great coach when it comes to "personality and effort." Too true. But it does sound like the kid really likes music.

Skippy just won't let leave us alone since he began our decline, now officially one decade long..

Damn, I can't care if he can't run a route, you don't just lose a guy with his electric speed and not feel it the next season (among our countless issues). Coaches never should have let this sort WR atrophy happen.

On a side note: IT HAS BEEN AN ENTIRE DECADE-PLUS SINCE WE HAVE RECRUITED THE TYPE OF QB THAT CAN SUCCEED IN THIS LEAGUE. Hell, even ISU has one now?! WTF!

"He's a good coach, as far as personality and effort," he said.
That's right, as long as your a nice person and try really hard!

Good for Josh taking the high road here... He had an opportunity to blast someone here. I hope he's an all-american at UCLA

I was afraid to open up the link, fearing that Josh would heap on a dose of "I told you so". Kudos to the young man for taking the high road, and not taking shots at the Colorado program.

Best of luck to you, Josh!

 I felt the exact same way. I was a little bitter when he left. It's a relief to see him to continue to support CU and not bad mouth them. Hopefully he's not trying to get his nephew to join him.

:yeahthat: Let's hope DS gets the load of PT and has a breakout season here and just continues his success for the next 2 yrs.

Mind-boggling that he's not on our team right now.. Blame is squarely on hawk on this one.

Nice to know that Hawk has built CU into a JC for UCLA.
