I dont think it matters. Bohn isnt from CU and I'd say he's as good of an AD in the appearance of bleeding black and gold department as we've ever had. I'm actually kind of a fan of Bohn, dude works his ass off for support. I, for one, appreciate that. The $10 ticket promotion was timely and fantastic for a team that needed a full house. Good job, fans btw.
He did grow up in Boulder.
He did grow up in Boulder.
He also really wanted to go to CU, but Chairbanks gave him the stiff arm, so he settled for KU.
As of now I don't have anything to dislike Bohn. I do see where having an alum as your AD can be advantageous. The AD would know first hand the traditions of the school and be passionate about it. Bohn being from Boulder is pretty darn close.
:yeahthat:Under Bohn we've started a lot of new traditions. I think he's been a great hire and AD for the school. Now his coaches just need to start producing.
Mike Holder, OSU alum and former golf coach, has done a really good job for Oklahoma State, from what I've heard.
Not hard to look like a genius when you have Boone Pickens' money to play around with.
