According to the official CU site, we'll be on either ESPN or ESPN2 when we travel to Austin.

As afraid as I am for these next 2 nationally televised road games, there's also a part of me that says "what a great opportunity to get everything back on track and then some".

Caught a bit of a break with a start time at 5:15. Hopefully the temp will be down in the low 100s by then.

i am cringing at the thought of a repeat of the 70-3 game on national tv.

maybe they'll get it all turned around and CU will play them tough and/or pull an upset...

I know you don't want to root for moral victories, but I would be happy with a 7-14 point loss instead of another one of those embarrasing beatdowns.

It's 6:15 Central, so even better temp-wise. October and November are consistently the best-weather months there, so the gameday experience should be great.

Who here thinks CU is probably on par with UTEP (maybe a little better) at this point?

Well UTEP was outgained 639-53 the other day vs. Texas.

The players are at least a little better. They would fare better than UTEP if the coaching staff hung around AllBuffs more.

So we will see 22 5 yard curls completed?

 that's probably the plan, considering those little sideline passes and curls worked so well against mighty wyo.

yeah, so, those won't work against a team with speed and b12 quality athletes. they'll jump the route a million ways to sunday. can you say pick, returned for a td, multiple times...

I would usually be excited to hear the game is on national TV. Not so much this time, though.

No way, not with the precise route running CU gets....

B.O.H.I.C.A (pronounced BooHeeka)
Meaning: Bend Over Here It Comes Again

I feel like this could be rough...

At least DScott can rack up some return yardage. Unless he gets injured in practice somehow, or forgets the playbook.

Does it make me an un-loyal and bad Buff fan to not watch this massacre and instead go to the UDub game here in Seattle against Arizona?

It is my birthday and I don't want to pop a blood vessel watching us get destroyed in front of another national TV audience.

I figure I just drink my face off before the Husky game in the parking lot and forget it is even on.

Thoughts......

I'd Tivo the game. Watch it Sunday morning.

Watch the game. It's the right thing to do. If we get blown out? Suffering through the hard times will make the good times that much sweeter. Maybe you could drink your face off while watching the CU game?

plus, imagine if the improbable upset occurs. that would be on the list of "can't miss" Buff events ever.

I need to know how many beers that is. I'm going to try it. I normally would buy a decent import but I'm thinking keystone light for that game. Maybe I can drink the Buffs back to respectability. Is this possible?
