Mike Leach = Pure Greatness

I'm no fan of Tech, in fact I pretty much hate those idiots. But Mike Leach is great because he always has an awesome sound byte to get a laugh out of.

Like just now, as he was jogging (literally, with the gal trying to keep up) and the sideline reporter tried to do her interview:

Emily Jones: "Uh, Mike, great way to start and end the half, but in the middle not so much."

Leach: "Yeah, in-between not worth a damn. Lookin' forward to the second half."

Jones: "How's Taylor?"

Leach: "I don't know."

Looking back at it, he was probably just being a prick, but I got a laugh out of it simply because it wasn't the usual coachspeak.

Tech only up 14-7 over dreadful UNM, btw.

Leach should have bolted for UW or Auburn when he had the chance. From the looks of things the coaches they ended up with are actually performing better in the job than Leach would have.

Neither fanbase would put up with his stubborn nonsense past their second loss. I still dont understand the appeal for a pirate with a playbook of 20 plays that refuses to make adjustments on defense after being exploited each game.
