Is the ship sinking?

Been hearing that alot lately. I absolutely think it is and it started week one. It's like we hit a damn iceberg against CSU and all Toledo did was confirm this ship was sinking quickly. Now we have players leaving and are still hearing the same bs out of the coaching staff. Id even settle for Cody sitting for a damn walkon, things have got that bad. Yep bad times in Boulder.

We are so bad right now in every area of the game it is impossible to find anything positive.

We need a change at QB. I don't care if they take a RS off someone or play a walkon. They have rotated players at every other spot. The one constant has been our QB and every team we play has nothing to worry about from our QB.

Well its obvious that Hawk isnt gonna bench him. If he wants to hinge his job on Cody's performance, like many here think he is, nice knowing ya Hawk.

There's no doubt in my mind that the ship is sinking, and that the captain of the ship is too incompetent to fix the damn thing.

Coach Hawkins doesn't have any choice. It's all about the player groupings, and Cody's in all of them!

I'd love to say the Buffs will surge at the end of the year, but honestly I don't see it...

I'm not sure how to answer this one. I have said repeatedly that I am just looking for improvement and I saw that during the WVU game. So, I feel like there was at least some progress. So maybe the ship is sinking or taking on water but I feel at least a little sense of hope that it's headed in the right direction while it sinks. :smile2:

A gold plated life raft is hard to pop, and we all know that "this thing" is "about to pop", so I have to assume that's what he was referring to.

Do any of you have ships or a ocean liner? It's easy to stand ashore and not face the tidal wave . We are in the water, paddling like crazy waiting for the perfect storm and when it hits, everyone will see the progression of it.

I never thought I'd see the day when we were the doormat of the B12, but each passing game it gets more that way. The Buffs as a laughing stock is hard to stomach. That's Baylor and ISU's job

I saw a post on this board that said school administration didn't really want a football program. What's the basis for this statement???

Uh, that would be insanity.

CU football supports most of the athletics at the University and has a significant impact on fundraising and alumni support - even when the ship is taking on water.
