does Hawk ever talk about the defense?

it's all "about to pop" and "getting in a rhythm". nothing about the D being a sieve. i'm not a huge fan of Collins, but he's done OK and certainly not the trainwreck, bull****, lying about having a clue that Hawk has been about the "pound it, throw it deep" he came in with (it's one thing to suck and lose, but to not even be interesting or viable on O when THAT was your calling card as a hire....Boise playbook).

bottom line: we aren't winning games and we suck. we are a 30 point dog this week. 20 point dog last week to an unranked team.

does anyone remember Colorado Football?

20 point dog to an unranked team?

30 point dog to an area we used to recruit for success.

good point...seems that the defense is trying new personal, playing some new faces...but the offense stays the same....but I am sure that any day now "POP" it will all come together.....

In one of his news conferences he said they NEVER work on tackling in practice...Said they didn't do it at Boise either....hmmm....maybe he doesn't know what the defense does at all.

being good at tackling is just the same as being good at blocking. overrated, by guys like Lombardi and Bear Bryant.

like those guys have been to Machu Picchu and blogged about it. simpletons.

I have heard him talk about defense on numerous occasions. You guys are ****ing paranoid.

it's a two way street. then why doesn't he lose Collins? because we do suck on D. being marginally less bad on D with nfl or almost nfl talent than "pump it and rock it" or whatever as the lying captain of the Boise Playbook is a useful distraction.

I'd bet that, if Hawkins keeps his job, there will be some changes in the coaching staff.

Only way he keeps his job is a major turnaround, starting now. I am pulling for him, but am not holding my breath....
