Hansen is in!!!

WOW. I am floored. This means he has to start the rest of the way, right? I mean, in a normal circumstance anyway.

Good lord this night has been the ultimate roller coaster. :(

But doesn't the rule state something like if play less than "X" percent of your total offensive plays then he can still redshirt??

If we're burning the redshirt 5 games into the season, he had better play EVERY ****ING SNAP for the rest of the season.

I'm with you but I'm not holding my breath. Cody will be back next week. Hawk will point to all the yards and points we left on the field yadda yadda yadda and we'll be back to square one. Only bright side is the D.

No. If you play ONE play -- you cannot redshirt.

Now, if he got hurt in the first 4 games of the season, he could have gotten a MEDICAL HARDSHIP - but that is different than a redshirt.

This answers the question of whether Hansen was insisting on redshirting. Hawkins was just eliminating Cody's competitionl.

OK, maybe I was thinking of the rules for a medical redshirt. Or who knows what the hell I was thinking.

Man. Hansen comes into this game completely unprepared and Texas is just sending everyone. Hawkins has a lot to answer for.

This is obviously Hawk's way of trying to save his job... Maybe he finally saw the light and figured he better try something or it will go down that Cody got his dad fired.

This truly is bizarro game.

Not sure about the OL yet. Johnson has a completely different style. The OL got jerked around, maybe they'll come around.

Hansen's passes are much crisper than Cody's.

Of course, with a penalty on every play, it's going to be hard to get much done.

Man... this is the problem. We keep giving to Stewert early, when its obvious he's a change of pace back. That's why his numbers steadily go downhill in 2nd Halves. We should let DS get in a little rhythm then have Stewert scorch the tired Defense. IDC if Scott only goes for 2 -3 yards a buck, we averaged like 2.2 yards this game anyways. I wanna see the coaching staff this guy more chances, there were a ton of plays where Stewert got stuck in the backfield too, so this can't be used as an excuse.

I thought the run blocking was actually good early until almost every play was a run play and Texas started run blitzing and nothing could be done to make them respect the passing game. Which is much on the play calling as the QB, imo.

I had hope for this team at the half, hawk, our coaching staff and horrible play has killed that hope. I guess laughing will help
The OL did pretty well straight up against UT's DL. It's Muschamps blitz packages that did us in.

I could be wrong. I'll have to watch the game again.
