Season starts next week against KU

I never expected CU to beat Texas in Austin, so today's loss doesn't mean much to me.

The season starts new next week against Kansas. Beat Kansas in Boulder and there is still a lot to play for.

Kansas' defense hasn't been all that impressive so far, which will be a good thing, given how ****ty Colorado's offense has been so far.

Yes...we win next week with Hansen at the helm, and the sky is the friggin limit.

Things look a little bit different now, defense is starting to come together, hoping TH starts next week will be a big difference....GO BUFFS!!!!!

Hoooooooaaaahhh!

I agree. We must turn it around right now. That is what I've always said, and I stick by it. No matter what others think about me. I hope I'm vindicated.

He isn't the cure all, but he might be the cure to our ailing QB issues. Who knows? We'll find out next week.

Hansen isn't the saviour but the defense just might be. I think if they held Texas to pedestrian results they can surely handle mighty mite Todd Reesing and the husker-lite jayhawks.

IF IF IF this is a permanent move at QB and Hansen gets an honest, fair shot... then I agree. KU looked pedestrian against ISU and being at home is always good.

Aside from the QB area, I felt pretty good about tonight's game. Yes, it ended up being a fairly-lopsided loss, but it could have been worse and we know that we were beating Texas most of the year. In a year like this, that's a big deal.

Move on to KU. Beat the beakers.

Iowa St rocked KU....we can handle them.....

:wtf: does this mean? Everyone thought the team would do better with a QB change. You are f'ing narcissistic, dude.

Kansas has a very good offense with reesing, the rb and 2 damn good wr's in briscoe and meier. Their defense is bad. If our defense shows up vs kansas like they did tonight,I think we have a shot. Our OL will have to improve a ton.

maybe. i like KU's staff more than ours. being at Folsom is a plus, as was posted.

whatever good one might take away from the UT game was tossed in the pisser by our crappy, undisciplined mistakes in the 4th quarter.

Sure Manginormous has won more than Hawbanks but there's always the possibility his hunger will get the best of him and he'll eat Reesing. Get in my belly!

It's all on the KU game now. I didn't get to watch their game against ISU, but from what I read/saw, they weren't impressive. Hopefully comming home and having confidence will help us out. I'm thinking we finally give Reising a loss a much deserved losss against our boys.

We are Doomed, Poor Tyler will run 2 to 3 Plays and out, Simple plays to prove Cody was the best QB. "Tyler does not know the playbook so we are limeted to the plays that make Tylerlook like SH**..

I really believe we'll beat KU. The defense has played well in 2 of the last 3 and we seem to be playing harder the past 2 games. As for KU, they're obviously beatable if they need a notre dame-like break where the opposing QB over-throws a wide-open receiver to hold on and beat ISU.

We have a shot but the run-run-pass playcalling needs a tune-up.

CU's second half drives....

3 plays minus 6 yds punt
5 plays 11 yds punt blocked for td
3 plays minus 3yds
3 plays 5yds
3 plays minus 7 yds
3 plays minus 10 yds
4 plays minus 10 yds
7 plays minus 1 yd

This includes...

blocked punt for td
92 yd int for td
74 yd punt return for td

OL has to improve greatly.

Totally agree Slade. I'm encouraged by last night's performance, but it is still going to take a good effort next week and forcing some turnovers to win next week.
