OMG -----> Hawkins Fired!!! (aka the official Miami's a tool thread...)

2 things:

1. You are not a big XII mod and never have been, so your opinion is worthless :smile2:

2. We'll See.

Well I work with someone who knows a guy who might be a potential bigtime donor to allbuffs someday, so my opinion counts for .. um, $15. Yeah, take that.

I'm starting an email/letter/twitter/facebook campaign to have some changes around here, yessiree bob. Not a big XII mod, my foot.

Have you ever moderated before? You can't criticize the Mods, if you have never been one.

Oh yeah, and our next Mod is gonna be from a large board. Possibly a SEC school assistant Mod. I'm tired of getting some no-name Mod from a small school. This is AB, we should be able to get some top end talent.

The new mod better not bring any assistant mods with him from the old school. We have mods-in-training who have strong ties to the allbuffs' community who should not be overlooked.

As long as the Mod-in-Training is not related to any of the current Mods. I will be very upset if we get a Mod named and there was no real Mod search or open Mod competition.

Disagree. I think we need to look for mods who have posted here during the glory days of Allbuffs. They know what it takes to make Allbuffs great, they have ties to the forum and they can sell the forum to potential new posters because of the success they've had here themselves. That is far more important than them having any actual experience as a moderator themselves....

You would think that.

It's actually far more important to have a moderator with tie-ins to Texas. That way we can recruit new Allbuffers who really understand football. That state is rich in talent.

I don't give a **** what kind of mod you hire as long as they bring their lunchpail every day, come from a good, two-parent, blue collar household and hold a solid GPA. If the mod is a son or daughter of one of the site owners, all the better!

I heard a rumor that there is an ex NFL head mod that might be interested. I guess he is still getting paid by his former board so me might be able to get him at a huge discount.

I would guess this is a long shot, I think that this person would be looking at other NFL mod openings.

If we could land this mod, all of our troubles would be over.

The next mod needs to be a hard-nosed disciplinarian. The problem with allbuffs the past few years is that it's gotten soft, all the new posters are pussies.

What we need around here is someone who is going to stop coddling these prima donnas and kick some ass.

This thread ****ing sucks. I would have liked it with the original title because it would have been funny. Now it is a waste of time.

Its very important that we chose only moderators that come from within "The System". Out of network moderators are inferior and would not mesh with the group or be successful in our system here in Boulder.
