He's only held on this long because the AD is a close friend and he followed him from Tulsa. Louisville was a top 10 team when he took them over. Total failure and he deserves to be fired.

At one time he was a guy I was excited about as a candidate at CU. He's been a complete disaster at Loovull....:huh:
 
Petrino and the jump to the Big East set that bar high at the Ville, and he's coaching like it was a lateral move to CUSA.
 
There has been tal;k that the Ville is the next destination of John Gruden.

# of vacancies this offseason should determine how attractive Louisville is. I think Gruden can do better, but if he wants to get out of a broadcast booth and likes the idea of coaching in college it may be a good fit.
