Here is the problem I have been struggling with. How do you show support for players and total lack of support for a coach/coaching staff at the game where Hawk and Bohn have a harder time putting on any blinders?

Hawk deflects any noise from unseen critics. So, how do you make him see it in person, responsibly and in mass quantities?

I was thinking about buying tickets to the Mizzou and not going. Showing support to the program but boycotting the game, but the players are the ones that get the short end of the stick in that situation.

I think the best thing we can do as fans for the players is to voice how unacceptable this is to the AD and demand a change. It is in their best interest that a new coach be brought in and the sooner the better.

Wouldn't it be better to go (to support the players) and make some kind of gesture - tshirt, sign, paperbag on your head- to make a statement about the coaching?

I'll be there with my wife and son next week. Maybe we should bring a sign that says, "Here in spite of Hawkins".

Its doesn't matter anymore. The players have basically checked out from the sounds of the TV announcers. I was missed the game as I was coaching my kids soccer team. I've observed the disconnected look myself.

These guys are fired. We know and they know it.

The players are getting to play football for a great university in a great athletics conference. Most get their education paid for.

The coaches are making very good money doing a job they presumably love.

I'm paying $$ for my tickets. I pay $$ to subscribe to cable or go watch at a bar. I'm the consumer. I assume most on this board are, as well.

What about supporting us with a good product? Don't have to win 10 games. Just have to be competitive. This Colorado team has been competitive 8 out of 24 quarters this season.

I don't boo players; never will go there. That's not what I'm talking about.

But why does CU deserve my support in any way right now? Why is that always the way the discussion is framed?

What about CU supporting the fans with a competitive team?

You do it by supporting the program. Go to the games, if you can, or watch on TV, when you can. Stay for the game and cheer your team on.

If they lose you don't boo, you still cheer for your team as the go off the field. Then you make it know through private letters to the AD, that you are unhappy with the coaching staff.

At no point in time on game day do you show anything but full support for the team.

That is how you support players and not a coach.

IMHO.

I like th signs idea. Have lots of signs supporting the players and lots of signs condemning Hack.
