We went through this debate this offseason, and it actually turned out to be quite entertaining. Anyway, if Hawk is back next year, will you renew your season tickets?

I will not. I will attend 2-3 games and I will still watch any games on TV, but I am not going to shell out a lot of money for more of this crap.

Absolutely NOT. I don't care if we win out I'm not going to.

I've had it with Hawk. I will most likely not go to any games, but I'll watch them on TV.

I'm just frustrated. Even if Hawk is here I may go to the CSU game. I still will not renew my tix though.

I will but will be very vocal in the stands yelling at the coaching staff. I'm a fan and will continue to support the boys.

Sept. 4 - at Colorado State
Sept. 11 - at California
Sept. 18 - Hawaii
Oct. 2 - Georgia
Oct. 9 - at Missouri
Oct. 16 - Baylor
Oct. 23 - Texas Tech
Oct. 30 - at Oklahoma
Nov. 6 - at Kansas
Nov. 13 - Iowa State
Nov. 20 - Kansas State
Nov. 26 - at Nebraska

That's a pretty weak home slate. I'll probably buy tickets on a game-by-game basis instead of renewing. But I'll definitely buy season tix again if we have a new coach. I'll even upgrade and buy a parking permit too.

As long as Hawk is there they wont get a dime of my money. When we start having 7000 or more empty seats at games times $70 for a ticket the AD will see that the buyout will be much cheaper at the end of the season.

Just think, that is half a million dollars a game, or about $3million a year when attendance starts going down. Buy him out, hire someone (Shanny) that will attract people and you will make that money back in a season or less just from the ticket sales.

Depending on my income, next year may be my first year of purchasing season tix.

I'm pissed and I am disappointed in the season, but I still love traveling to Boulder on Saturday afternoons for a game.

You can "support the boys" without giving money to the ones who are getting paid not to do their jobs. The boys play for free... I want to support them, but going to the games just shows them that they can put a loser out on the sidelines and still make money.

Until Hawk starts costing the AD money, there will not be a change.

I always figure my opinion carries more weight if I'm a paying customer than it would if I'm not. Plus, I enjoy the atmosphere. Yes, I'll keep going. It may be an interesting debate for the allbuffs tickets, though.

It really depends on what the offseason looks like. If the AD makes some changes and I feel positive about them I'll be far more inclined to purchase season tickets than I was this year.

The AD really needs to consider the importance of creating a new, fresh, and optimistic outlook to the program. If the coaching staff doesn't change, I only expect more of the same that we've seen for the past 4 years.

I should add I will go to the CSU game and possibly the Cal game next season. I just do not know if I can pull the trigger on season tickets instead of just buying them on a game-by-game basis like Buffnik says. I still like going to Folsom on Saturdays, so I cannot completely give it up.

The beginning of schedule is much tougher than this years. Juicebox could easily be 1 - 3. I don't see any road wins, maybe CSU. If Juicebox is still around, it's going to be a year in hell.

I'll go to the Cal game no matter what. Been looking forward to it since it was announced. The rest are up in the air.

I lost that illusion long ago. Unless you donate Pissbomber levels of $$, Bohn doesn't give a **** what you or I think.

I will take a serious look at dropping my tickets. I'll still go every week, but it will be much more of a gametime buy situation.

Heck you can drop your ticket...not have to give a donation...and get 2 for 1 deals. So spend $2000 for tickets and minimum donations (not counting game day costs) or just cherry pick 2 or 3 games for $85 each (getting 2 tickets for that price). I think I will turn the data over to my accountant and wait for his recommendation....

i have season tix i don't even use. why would i continue to invest in a regime that has no ****ing clue what to do? no ****ing clue.

absent a miracle turnaround (i.e. a bowl game and winning record), i'll let the tix go. i won't throw good money after bad. they have to show they actually want to win. if they won't ****ing commit by hiring a competent staff, why the **** should i commit to throwing money at ass-foolery?

Excellent point.

I posed this question to the people in my section before the KU game.

Me - "What is your feeling about Hawk's status"
Answers: "Gone, get him out of here, etc."
Me - "So if he is back next year, are you willing to give up you tickets?"
Answers: "NO", "I support the program", "I wouldn't give this up", etc.

It is a tough question. I will continue to keep my season tickets. It is tough to watch us lose an throw money at it. However, I grew up on CU football and I want to give my kid some of the same experiences.

Today was a crap day and I felt bad for putting my son in a CU shirt. However, last weekend, was a great day. Great CO weather, good friends, and a rarity lately, a great football game.

This program needs money, so if you are serious about giving up your tickets, send your money to Bohn instead for a buyout and help force a change.

Roads are generally tougher to hoe than "rows", but maybe that is the equivalent of what Hawk is doing right now and probably will be doing if he stays around.

You didn't read it right. He meant 'That road is very rocky and will be hell on my ankles while wearing the 6 inch '**** me' pumps as I (Evilbeak) am walking it trying to 'ho'. (spelled 'hoe' by him since that is commonplace spelling for a fusker.)

:smile2:

Maybe the thing to do is for everyone to start sending email to Bohn NOW telling him 'If Hawkins is still here, I will not be renewing my season tickets' regardless if you plan to or not. Try to make him see what is coming ahead of time. He gets several thousand of those in his in-box; I think that might make an impression. I several thousand are that vocal, he would know that many more thousand will not say anything but do the same thing. Let him do the math.

I'm done! It will be very easy to get tickets to watch this ****ty football next year, why bother putting $$ in for season tixs?

i'm in a ticket pool with some buddies so we've got 4 tix and 6 guys....MU was one of my off games. keep in mind, the 2 for 1 deal i got was for seats in 104, row 20. i'm guessing they are about on the 30-35 yard line. 85$ for the pair. starting with contributions, it would take YEARS and a lotta cheese to get seats that good.

if Hawk is back/we win 1 or 2 more games this year max....i may suggest to the pool we move our money to better seats for the Rox or Nuggets. cherry pick the CU games.
