How The Coaches Are Fixing This...

Perhaps CU cornerback Jimmy Smith summed up best the general feeling in the CU locker room Sunday evening after film review and an hour of playing Buff Ball inside the practice bubble.

For those who don't know, Buff Ball is non-contact ultimate frisby, but with a football. There must have been many questions about the QB situation, as everyone got to play qb today.

This is how we come back from our 6-point masterpiece yesterday. Good practice guys!

:bang:

 Well at least Hawk is expanding his coaching abilities. If ultimate frisbee ever becomes a professional sport, he's sure to coach that.

At least he's trying something different.

Maybe he saw this and wondered how to get the spark back into his guys.

Don't most teams take the day after a game off anyway? If they're playing Buffball today, that would be a problem, but I don't see a problem with letting the guys have basically an off day after playing a game and having to travel home.

ISU looks fired up. Great job and nice win against the Huskers on Saturday. They seem real excited about their coach and how their season is turning out. Seems so foreign to how I envision the typical post-game Buffs locker room.

But hey, on the brightside maybe Juicebox will get the team fired-up for the big Mizzou home game... Hmm, I predict Juicebox takes them out for some putt-putt golf and orange slices, followed up with some yoga, rather than tackling boring stuff like fundamentals of football.

Great, so CU football is now like the Neuheisal era, only without a decent coaching staff. Awesome.

Hawkins is never going to get this right , let me remind you all that he once moved an all big 12 freashmen linemen to play fullback.

I still like that move. Kai may have been on the all big 12 freshmen team, but how many other teams were playing freshmen at center? Kai is having his problems at fUCLA this year and I think he would have been a pretty bruising fullback.

I still don't think you move one of your best linemen to play full back. He may have been or could have been a brusing back if your line can't even open up holes for your FB to hit and your RB to follow there's no need for a brusing FB.

Besides if Kai starts at Center and Cody's behind him throwing he might actually complete some passes over the middle cuz Kai was the only linemen he could actually see over...
