I think things could get very interesting if we lose big on Saturday

Would not surprise me one bit if Bohn announces shortly thereafter that Hawk has been fired or that he is out at the end of the season.

It looked to me on Saturday like this team has quit on the staff. I think an ass-kicking is certainly a possibility. Unfortunately I'm not confident your prediction will play out. :sad1:

The aggots aren't a good road team, don't travel well and love to play like roadkill any chance given. This should be an easy win for Hawkins' highly-motivated football team.

I think it could get very ugly these next two home games. But it only gets ugly when people care. I'm hearing a lot of folks simply aren't going to the games. Two guys I know, who are long time supporters, have told me they just won't go to the remaining games. The pain is simply too much to bear. They'd rather sit at home and do housework. So what's left is a bunch of folks at the game who simply have nothing better to do. And that is truly sad.

The wheels came off very quickly, but they're definitely off.

I know a guy at work who has four family members that drive into town from Burlington for every home game. They are not bothering to come on Saturday and might be staying home for the NU game as well. They have had the tickets for 25+ years. Bad, bad stuff.

My dad is a 40+ year season ticket holder. If Hawk doesn't get canned, he's likely not renewing his tickets. We'll still go every Saturday, but why pay a premium for tickets? Just buy on gameday.

same with my dad. season ticket holder since mid 70's.

So we did not get seats this year because of the kiddo being born and knowing it was going to be a challenge to get up to Boulder. What I had done was set aside money for a pair of club level seats for next season. Safe to say I re-thinking the purchase of that magnitude. It could be a great family trip, or put into Q's trust.

I thought the end of the 2005 season was disastrous....oh man, the **** is about to hit the fan in Boulder my friends.

i was thinking the same thing last Saturday. and it was 33-3 at halftime. but, i will be surprised if the **** hits the fans.

:sad1::yeahthat:

More transfers are coming. Bohn needs to realize stopping the bleeding is the most important step this program can take right now.

My son has gone with me 90% of the time to the CU games. I doesn't want anything to do witht NU game and could care less if he goes to the aTm game this week.

It will be interesting to see what my Dad wants to do next year. We've been going forever, and it's kind of a father/son deal. I'd hate to give up the tickets.

From the same pedigree...dad's had them since '91 (granted not as long as y'all's padres ) but has been flying in from Boise for at least 4-5 games every year. CU no longer gets his season ticket money if Hawkins is back.

I just talked with him about DS transfer...he is trying to come up with reasons to keep his tickets and can't find a single one - and that includes the chance to move to the 50 yard line!

Going Sinker....(just like the program)

I have a close family member who's had season tix for close to 30 years. He could read the writing on the wall, and skipped the opener to go on a cruise. Says he's tired of watching bad football, and will probably not renew if Hawk is back for 2010. His wife had been going to Buffalo Belles events for a long time as well. She did not care for Squawk, at all, and quit last year.

If this thread isn't an indication of what's gonna happen next year with season ticket sales, I don't know what is. Here's hoping that everyone of the people that won't renew because of Hawk, let Bohn know that before it's too late (my dad has already fired off his email a few weeks back)

If all these people aren't going to renew, then fire an email saying WHY. Just had this conversation with a friend of mine. It's not enough to withhold your money, let the AD know exactly why. It's not just the losing, it's the lack of change within the program.

When she's right, the woman is RIGHT. :smile2:

He won't get fired after the game... but I could see them announcing him out after the Fusker game

Yeah, I just don't think he'd fire him after A&M, unless it's unbelievably bad. Bohn had better be thinking of some names, though.

When I spoke to Bohn last week, he made it pretty clear that Juicebox won't be going anywhere until next year "if no progress is made".

I've got to imagine that he didn't know we'd be having talented players leaving, so I wonder if this changes things, or if he really wants to be known as the AD who let Juicebox make CU college football's doormat.

I'll be writing him another email tomorrow - one can only hope that with enough input from fans, supporters, alumni and students, he'll have to make the right choice immediately.

Ya know, I was gonna go to my first CU game in Boulder this year and take my son. Ive seen them in person in a few venues in Texas but not Boulder. Im rethinking going at all but something keeps telling me I should. All I can think about is how the players must feel right now. These guys gotta know we are still behind them. Geez, this is getting downright ****ing depressing.

I've been getting my chops busted on here since the Toledo game for hoping for a blowout and saying that if you don't already have tickets don't buy them since it just shows support for the that jackass coach... Now it seems everyone has finally joined me.

I don't think we have to worry though as I don't see any way that Hawk is back next year and I think the reaction from the Scott thing combined with a poor turnout this weekend will finally be what does him in and wakes Bohn up.

Go Buffs!!!
