Want to return to the top 25? These teams pass first to setup the run like Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Oregon. You can run hurry up offense like OU, it is hard to stop. U of A does not out-recruit CU and they have a great offense and are winning bowl games. Sonny Dykes is the offensive coordinator. previously from Texas Tech WHO LAST I CHECKED SCORES MORE THAN 6 POINTS A GAME.

I'll take any offense that wins.. Could care less if we throw 50 times a game or 4 times a game..

Would rather not have a passing centric offense. Lets get a good balanced offense and a team that is disciplined and doesn't committ dumb penalties and turn the ball over constantly. Not giving up 30 yard touch downs on a Field Goal attempt is another thing I would like.

Ohh, fake punts from your own 10 are also not wanted here either.

I personally find that style of football almost unwatchable. I also believe it's not the best way to win consistently in the two most competitive conferences.

If we were gonna go that route, Id prefer Oregon's style of spread. I dont agree that they pass to set up the run though, quite the contrary imo. Have you seen Oregon play? They run the hell outta the ball in the spread and have about 4 backs plus their qb to do it with. Personally, I hate the spread but thats me. Besides, does it really matter with this ****ing staff? It's year 4 and I still dont know what the hell we are trying to accomplish on offense. Everybody here wants to be back in the top 25. We should worry about getting some olinemen that get a push and somebody that can coach them before we ever worry about what offense we should run.

in a perfect world, i start on the D side of the ball with the next Colorado HC.

Sonny Dykes? I'd prefer Spike.

I caught the second half of the KSU-OU game on FSRM last night. KSU is going to win the North, I am confident of it. Only one team prior to Sat has scored more than 13 points on OU, Miami, in Miami scored 20. KSU put up 30, in Norman. He did it running the same old **** he did 10 yrs ago--Power spread option Osborne-style O.

Enough of this flavor of the month, trendy crap. Run the ball. Please.

Re: Anyone like Texas Tech/Arizona offense?...Hire Sonny Dykes before someone else do

no. solid D or running gameO

Re: Anyone like Texas Tech/Arizona offense?...Hire Sonny Dykes before someone else do

I Like Spike. He has put a pretty good O on the field in AZ. Good TX ties. CU could do worse.

Agreed, Oregon definitely runs first and I actually like their version of the spread. I'm not a huge fan of the Air Raid offense, but if it puts points on the board then I guess I won't complain. I'd prefer we get someone in here that is a defensive guru type and then that person can hire someone and give them the reigns of the offense. Doubtful that coach would hire a guy that doesn't like to run the ball as most defensive coaches prefer a ball control offense.

Id love to have Venables or Strong going the defensive route and im sure there are others across the country that would fit that mold too.

I like smash mouth football. Line up, blow people off the ball, and get 5-8 yards per carry. Then hit them over the top with some nasty ass play action. In a perfect world, that's the offense I would like to have here.

Yeah, Oregon's offense is pretty good - who's their OC, maybe we should hire him?

Whoever it is, I'm sure he could generate a much better offense than we have now witht the current talent.

Re: Anyone like Texas Tech/Arizona offense?...Hire Sonny Dykes before someone else do

Their OC is Chip Kelly, he doubles as their HC. He's really good at what he does and has been good at it for a few years now.

Re: Anyone like Texas Tech/Arizona offense?...Hire Sonny Dykes before someone else do

I would like to see a coaching staff that has the team ready and fired up to come out and play with an attitude.....like sackman had said, smash mouth football on both sides.

Nothing cooler than watching a WR come open by like 10-15 yards on a PA post route.
