1/2 price to A&M. I'm thinking about going now.

Does this piss you guys off that have been season ticket holders, particularly those of you who've been LONG TIME season ticket holders?

Not at all. I just see it as another donation and it allows my friends to go who normally couldnt afford to.

Doesn't piss me off since I'm glad to contribute to the athletic program.....but in doing the math, with all the specials/deals this season, I could have easily saved myself some $$$

Not at all. Season ticket prices are pretty reasonable. I like being able to contribute and I like seeing us get the seats filled. Maybe, just maybe the people that show up for the deals get hooked and start coming regularly...at least under normal circumstances.

I bought the cheapest season ticket at $180 as an out-of-stater that will only get to see CU vs CSU in person. I don't buy a ticket to go to every game, although I usually would if I could.

I think I paid $65. But I just went to the student section.

Oh, and that $65 didn't include my plane flight and hotel room.

Been a season ticket holder for 25, no 26 years now. next year will be 27. So no, it doesn't get me upset one bit. What upsets me is when their's not 50k + seats filled week in and week out. It's one of the smallest stadiums in the B12, we should be able to fill it.

Doesn't bother me either. I am glad they are trying to get people in the seats and as mentioned above, people will enjoy the experience (not the team on the field right now).

I think having season tickets is about the whole experience. It is about tailgating and sitting in the same seats every week with the same people around you. Also it supports the athletic department.

The tax write off is nice too. The way I look at it, season tickets is just as economical as the 2 - 1 deals. You can't get into some sections with the 2 for 1 prices. I looked at it last week, it was $92 for two tickets that were 69 rows up. The face on my tickets is $58.00 so it is $116 and I am in row 29. I would rather pay the extra money per game and have much better seats and get the tax write off.

Not bothered by it. Anything they can do to get more people in the stands that may, someday, turn into season ticket holders is fine by me.

If the CUAD were really nimble, it'd be half off if you show up in BnG, but full price for sky blue.

Wow, with all these deals they will be giving out over the life of Hawk's contract, it would probably be cheaper to buy him out and then hire a new expensive guy that can win and increase the demand and price of those seats. But it is less risky for Bohn's job security to do it this way instead.

No. I completely understand that they need to fill the stadium whichever way they can. I'll gladly pay full price to support CU and wish there were more that did.

On the other hand last year when I saw deals the Avs were giving out I felt cheated for being locked into full price tickets. That's a different story. The Avalanche aren't starved for money and support like the CU AD. They can compete on an even level monetarily with the rest of their league.

I'll gladly pay full price and don't care if I'm paying more than other people for CU. Pro sports are a different story.

Did you happen to see the acres of empty seats in the lower bowl Wednesday night when they played Phoenix?

I see lots of discounted tickets in the Avs near future.:sad1:

Which is pretty messed up considering they are the best hockey team in the NHL right now.

It doesn't bother me, but it does make me re-evaluate my priorities for buying tickets next year. For me and my son to go each week, it costs ~$120 or so for our 2 tickets. That's an awfully steep premium to watch ****ty football when I could still go each week and either buy tickets 2-for-1 from the AD or get them outside the stadium for $20 each.
