Nine Different Receivers

caught balls today, led by Simas 7/135. So good to see the ball distributed to lots of different people, and for once have someone besides Scotty (4/60) lead the team in receptions.

Makes you wonder what could have been had Hansen been the starter all season. He'd have some good experience by now.

Hansen grew up a lot today. I wish he'd gotten more snaps at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, but that's water under the bridge now. I want to seem him build on this next week in Ames.

Definite improvement by Hansen. He still gets happy feet from time to time, but he made some good plays running around today. I wish he had more of an arm on that int he threw, it was a good choice, he just doesn't have the cannon to get it there.

I think he actually has plenty of arm. Didn't use it on that throw, though.

I don't think I was clear with what I said earlier. I think he has a perfectly fine arm, just not a John Elway cannon. I don't recall how far that throw was earlier and he was rolling to his left, I thought he set his feet pretty good, but it just may have been a bad throw by him. Nonetheless I have no issues with how strong his arm is.
