Delusional. No way we get a game on prime time while we blow goats. We were only on national tv on primetime against KU and UT because the networks wanted to highlight them. It wasn't about us, but our opponents. Don't think otherwise. No one outside of the state of Colorado or alums want to see a ****ty CU team on TV every week. We'll move out of the 11:30am timeslots when we win. UT was on at noon today so there are plenty of teams that have early time slots.
If we don't play CSU at Invesco I bet the political pressure to change this would have been strong. FSU and UF play because their state legislature forced them to. I don't think that happens here, but the city of Denver would have waged on and forced this game to happen there. It's bull**** and I hate the college game off of campuses, but it's better than having to play in CSU's POS stadium. The game will be a mainstay on Labor Day Sunday for years to come on national TV. That's a good thing for the program. Would rather setup something with Wyo, CSU and AF on a rotating basis, but that's not going to happen.
Bohn has done a good job getting this team on (national) tv and getting us more $$$. His HC, however, has sucked. In the arms race of the Big 12 you need the $$$ to compete with the UTs and OUs and NUs of the world (OSU counts because of good ol'Pickens).
The only time he majorly ****ed up was the Sunday-Friday combo and letting the MAC abuse him. However, with our expectations we should have won. Toledo and CSU are horrible. We were terrible at the beginning of the season, not sure if we replay those games now we win...we're that bad.
