What would you say would be our best 1st and second halves of the season so far? Pretty pathetic, but I'm a little bored

I'd say the first half against the Jayhawks was the best first half on both sides of the ball.

The second half against aTm was probably the best.

Now I'd like to see the Buffs actually play like this for 60 minutes, wouldn't that be nice?

I actually think if we can string two halves together and play consistently, Hawk has a chance to win-out and hopefully turn the corner next year. GO BUFFS!!!

I would be satisfied if we could play one game without a special teams disaster be it kickoff returns for scores, missed filed goals, fumbled punts, excessive penalties on returns etc, etc.....

I think when the competition is taken into consideration, the best half of football played this season was the 1st against UT. The defense was outstanding until the very last drive of the half, and then it was more about Shipley than bad D.

which hasn't happened yet in Hawk's tenure.

I finally caught the Missou game on a reply on FCSC. The third quarter was pretty damned good.

any quarter with a crucial 3rd and 1 or less that we go for twice and lose yards on is not a good quarter.

I noticed awhile back that Hawks teams do not play complete football games. If we have a good first half, we fall apart in the second half. If we come out getting ran over in the first half, he seems to have a knack for getting the team ready to go in the second half when the game is out of reach so the score looks respectable. Most of our losses can be considered the kind that we really weren't in the game in the 4th quarter. Most of our wins were the type that we got a lead and clung to it. I want some complete game domination.
